Q: Anyones fairy missing a head?

Yes! Purchased in December, also received a fairy with no head. Plus one of the wings of the headless fairy snapped off immediately.

Q: Can the mushroom roof be detached from house to replace batteries?

Yes, you can remove the mushroom top to change the batteries.

Q: Is this weather resistant enough to be kept outdoors?

It looked like it to me but I might put it nearby so if weather got stormy it could be moved easily to shelter.

Q: Are the fairy and unicorn able to stand up on their own or must they be propped against something to stand?

The unicorn does stand on its own. The fairy has a stand for standing and a wire for flying.
