Well made
Well made product. I replaced a 10+ year old segment of R4.2 duct that was 15 feet long. The old duct was put in by the builder and the tape they used to join 2 pieces together failed.I used mastic and a zip tie to seal this on the HVAC blower and vent to the room. The old duct was a little larger and fit over the baffle, but this fits very tight around the 6" metal duct connections, so I ended up removing the baffle.The room is now much warmer and the inital burst of cold air when the furnace kicked on is gone.R6 would have probably worked just as well, but since I was replacing the duct to a room I spend alot of time in, I want to receive conditioned air that is not affected buy the temperature in the attic.
