First Aid Only 4" X 4" Water Jel Burn Dressing, Sterile (Pack of 3)

I’m a clutz. This stuff stops the burn pain almost immediately. It went from hurting so bad I couldn’t focus, to being fine within 10 minutes. It hardly even blistered or scarred too.

I am an Eagle Scout and paramedic wanna-be and this is the BEST (underscore that) thing for burn treatment. I've read medical reviews of this, all praising it (with statistically signifigant results) and I've used it personally for a roommate who had put his hand to a camp stove that was 400+ degrees. We originally thought we would have to take him to the ER but we used a couple 4x4s immediately out and put it on...no blisters formed and he had no pain within 36 hours. I've also used related Water-Jel products for sunburns with remarkable results. I'm telling you, this is THE premium stuff when it comes to burn treatment. If it saves you even one trip to the ER, recovery time, or at the least, some serious pain relief, you'll be glad you paid the $3-5 per 4x4 dressing. I carry 3 of these in my first aid kit, along with individual dose packages and a spray pump and feel great about it.

Nothing better! I call this my "miracle" stuff! Had a pretty severe burn from grabbing/lifting a pan out of the oven. The pain was intense. Remembered the Water Jel. Yeah! I applied the 4 x 4 pad covered in gel and it reduced the pain quickly. The burn then continued to intensify, again. After awhile I wondered if I should re-soak the pad, and Finally looked at the directions:) Just kept adding more jel to the top of the dressing for next 3 hours. During that time the blisters got really big.... Then the pain subsided. The blisters started going down. I covered my hand with Aquaphor, and a glove and went to bed. Everything was heeled by morning! You couldn't tell I was even burnt. I was seriously shocked and happy. My husband said "we need to reorder that" right away. I will never not have this available......just in case.

These are Wonderful! They make a bad burn hurt a LOT less, keep the wound clean and somehow help it heal faster. I used a half dressing every 8 hours ('cause I couldn't find a medical recommendation) and my burn immediately started to heal. Definitely having a package of these in the household First Aid kit from now on!

Breast cancer radiation burn.

This is a must if you have any risk for burns. I own a coffee shop where employees work with hot water/steam daily. I have used this and it is very cooling-per employees. The pads are small but work well on hands or fingers.

A bit expensive but well worth it given how efficient these are. Had an extensive burn across the abdomen just after giving birth (burnt myself with boiling water). Applied the pads right away and kept applying new ones over a few days, together with the gel contained in each bag. They not only killed the pain but also prevented any discomfort related to the burn (no itchiness or skin stretching). Healed without a scar. Bought more for future burns.

I have purchased the Water-Jel product in the bottle and in the individual packs, and they work great for minor burns and sunburns. Purchased the Water-Jel Burn Dressings three years ago and last week had the first opportunity to use them. Accidentally touched the hot end of a heat gun and immediately knew it was going to be a good burn. Initially tried letting it sit under cold running water, then a cold compress with a blue ice pack from the freezer, but it still burned. Remembered the burn dressing from the first aid kit. After wrapping the dressing with some stretchy bandage it helped ease the burn, especially as the gel evaporated. Reapplied the extra gel a couple times throughout the day as the dressing dried out. The next day I had some blisters, but the pain and burn was gone, and everything is healing great. Though I should write this review since I was back on Amazon restocking my kit.
