The window film doesn't attach to the window. It is a rubbery material and is not made to stick on windows. It came off within 1 min of putting it on. The photos attached were taken right the moment the professional put it on. I had called a professional who has been doing it for over 10 years to install it. He literally said that this material is not for a window film and better use this as a table wrap.I wasted $60 on it :(

Turned out really well.

First picture shows I got a defective roll. The bit against the cardboard is scratched.The second is an old contractors trick for getting heavy films to stay until they settle in. I figured a photo might help more than instructions. Use painters tape though and dry the sufaces facing you before applying.The heat from the sun will smooth the film down by kind of "ironing the edges". Fair warning this is an "advanced technique film". Ie. Its a toughie.I also included some photos of the print in better detail. The back is semi matte and textured.Other than the issue with the scratched roll.Which meant I had to order a second roll as this one is not returnable because its been mostly used.I ordered the regular privacy version of this before and it was fine .I hope this is a one off or fluke.If you want diffused or just privacy the regular version (easy) or white (probably as hard as the blackout) should work fine. I needed blackout and heat reduction for my daughters nursery.Blackout and heat reduction details.This is on a window facing direct sun and our uv index here hits as much as 15.There's already a noticable temp drop and it is definitely 100% blackout.Application tips: Check your windows for silicone borders before you order as that will make things harder. Also going slowly and using the same thing spatula,squeege or card that you use to flatten air bubbles out as a straight edge will help a lot.I will follow up and let y'all know if the second roll is also scratched. :/ Hopefully, its good. Really sucked not being able to just get this done today.
