Works perfect with my R6 MII, Tamron 1.4 Tele & EF 100-400mm II
This adapter is Top quality! Works perfect with my R6 MII, Tamron 1.4 Tele & EF 100-400mm II setup. I want the RF 100-500mm lens, but this will help get me there. Handheld shot indoors 560mm, 1/50s, ISO 6400, F8. The filters are another big plus! If you don't see it here .... but more testing when my EF 2x II Tele comes this afternoon. If it doesn't auto focus really good, I will edit & ad that here.

Fits snug.! And perfect.
Just picked up an canon r50 and needed an adapter to use with my old EF lenses. And I must say it is definitely worth the investment if you are in a budget. Fits kinda snug too. And easy to use. Highly recommend.

Great product
Running on Canon R5. No more swapping ND filters from lens to lens. Compares identically to the VND I've used for years in both still and video. All AF as fast and accurate as ever. A bit of new muscle memory to develop, but if you run-and-gun and have no time to screw with changing filters from a 82mm to a 77mm to a 48mm - absolutely worth it.

Good build quality on adapter, but had optical defects on filters
After researching reviews of Canon EF to R mount adapters, I decided to give this Meike MK-EFTR-C VND Drop-In filter a shot. It's an amazing value compared to the Canon Drop-In filter. Build quality of the mount itself was nice, the filter holders had nice little rubber seals, and it functioned fine with my 3 lenses ... but it just wasn't for me. Your mileage may vary, but in order of importance, here's why I decided to stick with the standard Canon EF-R mount adapter:1. There was a small bubble in the clear and VND filters. I ordered another MK-EFTR-C, but it also had defects (albeit smaller). Possibly I was unlucky twice.2. The VND is very clever, but because it's 2 polarizers rotating relative to one another, by adding my normal circular polarizer to the front of my lens, I was able to shift the color of the image. This is a known issue.3. I was a bit concerned about introducing dust more easily onto my sensor when swapping filters (or if they weren't fully seated). When they're screwed onto the front of the lens, the sensor is still sealed.I'm not a professional photographer, so I may not notice the above potential issues, but the purest in me fell back onto the simple principal of the Canon EF-R mount adapter. It's just air (i.e., no potential lens influence) and sealed.

Better color consistency than first party?!
The media could not be loaded. I really enjoy the adapter. The autofocus works the way I want it and it doesn’t seem to have a color shift throughout its ND range. There are plenty of ef mount lenses that I can use instead of RF lenses. There aren’t noted stops between strengths except for light and dark at the ends, but my camera’s metering makes this a non-issue for me. Oh! And this works more like a PL mount than a traditional adapter. You put the lens in its position and then twist the adapter rather than the adapter still and twist the lens to lock. I recommend anyone who needs ND and has EF lens to pick this up!

I was a little hesitant to get a non-canon adapter at first but...
It works great. The first one I had there was a little defect where the bayonet and barrel of the adapter had some play thus the lens wasn't always aligned with the sensor and the focus was soft and a bit of chromatic aberration and I was all "this thing is crap!" Then I discovered the adapter turned out to be defective and I got my replacement next day and I've taken it through all the tests and it works great. So if you aren't thrilled with it, perhaps you got a bad one.All functions on all lenses work well (I tested with Canon, Tamaron, Yongnuo, Sigma lenses 8MM to 400MM) and the focus speed, clarity and other performance is identical to using the lenses on my older EF camera without the adapter. I really LOVE the drop in filters (they have CPL as well) as I use many lenses and having one set of filters is great.I do a lot of bird/wildlife/astrophotography so I'm pushing the limits of what the camera/lens can do and it all performs as expected and very well. I would buy it again and recommend it as it's very affordable and performs great.

Perfect for the Komodo
I have been using this now for a few months with the Komodo and it's the best mount I have found yet with a locking EF and drop in.... One small request is please as a threaded foot so it can be locked down. I ended up adding a small cut off mondo tie as a spacer mounted to my small rig cage and this adds pressure to the mount so it doesn't twist when using follow focus motors. Simple solution but seriously just add a threaded foot like the ones on the metabones.

the perfect accessory for a mirrorless camera
If you have older lenses and a new RF series camera this is a no brainer

Good quality built but a bit heavy
It seems pretty solid and built with good materials and care. The adapter plus filter adds a bit of weight to your lens set up plus the additional length makes a but harder to keep stable shots, specially with bigger /heavier lenses and medium or low speed, but I guess will be the same with the original Canon or any other well built adapter. Definitely is good value for the money, specially when you compare it with the pricey equivalent from Canon. I would recommend buying the adapter with the VND and clear filter and adding the polarizer, then you don't need different sized filter for all your lenses.

Nitido importante
