Excellent!!
This is coming from someone that has used the same old White sewing machine for 30 years (I believe). That one finally died and this is the one that had the features I needed and that I could afford. I am 100% satisfied with this. So quiet (in comparison for sure), very easy to change stitch, very easy.

Fun To Play With
Easy to understand instruction book included, with all kinds of extra presser feet and other goodies. Thanks for a wonderful product.

Too small around pressure foot and needle area
if you have big hands don’t bother with this machine, there is not enough room near the pressure foot area to do anything. The needle threader rarely works, and if you have big hands, it’s difficult to thread the needle.

The Brother SQ9285 is strong and smooth. The stitches are nice and neat. I took one star because it’s missing the pedal.
