I can’t get the weight to register on this scale. I usually am trying to weigh Trout or Salmon. With the hook being so small it makes it hard to slide under the gills. When this happens it’s hard to keep the scale at 0. So by the time I get the fish on the hook all it reads is 0 or a small number. I went back to using my old tube scale.

Love it and it works great but it's not very substantial. The battery cover will not stay on and the front cover that goes around the buttons is falling off. My last Rapala lasted me four years. I'll probably have to buy a new one next year.

I like that it is a nice small scale that fits easily in a tackle box. The down side is that is seems hard to get it to zero out and the samw fished weighed several times gives a few ounces difference each time.
