Worked perfectly for flaring the copper pipes for my mini split installation project. I was impressed by the weight and quality of the tools.

I have tested (and returned) several flare sets due to quality. This kits isn't the cheapest, but is excellent for the money. I like the bright colors - it helps me keep an eye on the pieces.

Great tool. I've used it for mini splits. makes perfect flares. Couple tips. Make sure to use burr remover. When cranking down the flare tool. Make certain to take it to the point where it CLICKS and then give it another turn. The clutch releases, and spins easily. Compared it to the factory flares. Make certain to have the copper tubing pushed out to the guide stop to get a perfectly sized flare. Practice a couple times.

I needed metric capability to repair a tube on our portable air compressor. It did a good job on the flare.

Ease of use, great tool for the smaller projects.
