I use these with PEX A any time I make a 90 degree turn. There are very few scenarios you would have to use an elbow instead (such as a very tight spot). These go on literally in a second, hold the pipe perfectly, and are one less joint that could potentially leak down the road.

It made the 90 degree bend without having to cut the pex to put a 90 degree elbow.

Decided not to use as curve was quite severe even for 1/2 inch and my application had room for a less stressful turn

I wish it was made of stainless steel or aluminum that would make it greater.
