Stick to recommend motors
Awesome rocket. Launched perfectly and was able to reach 1700 feet easily but like I said stick to recommended motors if you want it back in one piece. Unfortunately the elastic band came loose on the rocket side and the second stage came down with a bang.

Great rocket kit with better than average Assembly instructions.
Great rocket kit! Estes should take a lesson from Rocketarium on how to write the instructions for assembly. This kit has excellent instructions. Great flyer and all works as it should. Highly recommend this brand.

Tree lover's delight
This is a great rocket. Goes very high, very fast, especially with two stages. Also managed to find a very high tree. I highy recommend this rocket. I do not like trees.

Take your time with the build
It's a good flyer, especially with the booster. It can be flown either as a single or two stage. Rocketarium was very responsive when I contacted them for a part missing from the kit. The build is not for beginners. The decorative bands are fussy and complicate the painting and finishing process. The glue-on hatches on the payload section caught the parachute lines and stopped the chute from opening fully on one launch. I would sand their edges to prevent that, or leave them off entirely. Overall a quality product, just take your time building it.

Very high quality rocket.
Very sturdy design. We launched it 6 times in the same day with no issues. Use the actual engines to determine engine retaining ring depth, not the template tubes. This will guarantee a proper engine depth.

Don't add a oversized motor
Very easy to assemble follow instructions. don't try to put a bigger in the main stage. Like I did. Had a E-18-0 for take off. And a E -18-6 for the booster motor 8000 feet easy. Never saw it again.

Great materials! Thick balsa for a strong rocket! Already launched it 7 times & still looks new!

Works great, booster stage can be a little dangerous when it falls though.

We shot this rocket off twice first time I was filming second time I did not. Bought it for my friend and his only complaint was that it did not go out of sight... I personally dont think that's a bad thing

What kind of rocket building kit comes without certain things that would help complete it, such as glue and the motors!
