Trip Lever Service Kit, Polished Chrome

Changed out some Rialto levers that never worked right, a massive difference, they should ship the toilets with this instead of the cheap flimsy levers that come with it.

Probably could have just replaced the plastic nut, but at 20 years at least old, there was a screw I couldn't easily loosen so I replaced the whole thing. Easy quick install. Pay attention to current one and will make it easier, but directions included. I had never replaced one but didn't have to use them. Looks like the original, hope it lasts as long.

Excellent product. Quick delivery and quality. Fit like a charm and original as far as I can tell. My previous levers were all rusted due to use of bleach discs in the flush tank. After installing these and adjusting the chain in the tank, flushing is a breeze and the lever returns back without having to remember to bring it back (sign of the rust).

We've been having issues with the flush lever for a couple of years and the last straw came when the internal washer completely seized up not allowing the handle to return after flushing. I went to a local shop who didn't have the model in stock and they recommended I looked on Amazon !. I was very surprised to find such a specialized part on Amazon since Kohler toilets (at least mine anyway) can't be fitted with a universal lever or even a regular Kohler lever. I don't know why they don't standardize these parts but at least Amazon has come to the rescue. This is a chrome finish original part and fit perfectly (although the handle itself isn't well designed by Kohler). Takes about 5 minutes to swap over and now we have a smooth action to the lever once again. Great job Amazon.

This is identical to the OEM trip lever in my Kohler San Raphael Toilet. Only kind that will work for it. Because the sides of the San Raphael and Santa Rosa toilets slope are angled out toward the bottom, a standard / strait trip lever tilts down into the toilet, instead of going out horizontally from the level of the handle. Flipping a standard trip lever handle won't raise the trip lever high enough to get a good flush. Kohler design is flawed, in that the trip lever is too short. It stops 2" short of being centered over the flush flap. Result: when you flush, the flap is pulled off center, which causes premature failure. I fastened an extension (using small brass screw, washers, nut) to this trip lever so the chain pulls strait up when flushing.
