I'm old school & used to iron on patches. We have a new puppy whose sharp puppy nails accidentally snagged a spot right in the center of our couch. I didn't expect it to spread further, and for a while it didn't, but evenrually one of my kids flopped on it & it ripped further. I tired sewing it which worked for a bit & wasn't very noticeable but over time the stitches broke (wrong type of thread). The couch isn't that old & not exactly cheap in the grand scheme of things so I didn't want to trash it & buy new but the hole just kept getting worse and worse. Eventually my husband recommended a patch. Being the a heavy used spot on the couch I didn't think a patch would hold up well, and I really didn't think a sticker would work for sure, but I was desperate & this had good reviews. It was the perfect size as-is to cover the ever growing hole (it was nearly basketball size at this point). The color wasn't an exact match nor was the material the same (couch is called "capehorn, manual reclining sofa in granite" if you wanted to Google it to see the fabric/ color). I trimmed the rough edges of the hole so they wouldn't cause bumps & I vacuumed off any dog hair/ lint. I pulled the edge of the sticker off & placed it exactly where I wanted it (exactly in the center) then kept rolling the back off as I firmly laid the sticker down. Went back over the edges with hand pressure & hoped for the best. Forgot about the "wait 24 hours" recommendation but that still hasn't messed it up. Honestly if you didn't know it was there you'd never see it. It blends in so well & it's been a week or so and is still holding up to daily use. Definitely recommend this sticker.

We have bought two different colors and haven’t managed to find the match to our couch, however, I can attest to the durability of them. Our cats had destroyed the cushions to our sectional and given that it’s only about five years old, we are not ready to replace it just yet. I was able to cut any dangling strings and stuff loose stuffing back into the cushion before putting these patches on. I have three kids that no matter how many times I ask that they not jump on the couch, constantly forget and have wrestling matches and jumping competitions on the cushions. While I can’t say that they are unscathed, they have held up remarkably well,, without fraying or the adhesive, pulling up more than just a little bit at the corners. Keep in mind that our cats have not decided to suddenly leave the couch alone so they have also stood up to that. I wish I could find a really good match because I would hit more spots on our couch with it.

Although this was close to just what I was looking for, I have to short a star, because it should have been shipped with stiff cardboard on it's front and back within the packaging, because it arrived very wrinkled and creased, see photos. I am planning on using it to patch a shower curtain.

Honestly really impressed, bough as a preventative because I’ll be damned if I let my cats destroy another couch. Been on for about a week but it look exactly the same as it was when I first put it on. The cats are not messing with it but now they are going for the other corner of the couch so I’m getting another pack to cover that corner. But it’s a decent match color wise you can only really tell from close up that it’s on.

I purchased this to repair a large tear in a dog bed. Like many dogs, our two English Cockers scratch and circle repeatedly before lying down in their beds at night. This dog bed took quite a beating each night before it finally ripped. I decided to try to repair the bed instead of replace it. I used "fray check" to prevent the fabric from unraveling and when dry, I then sewed up the tear. I applied this patch on top. I had to buy five different colors before I found one that "somewhat" matched the difficult to match fabric. The patch is heavyweight and seems very durable. And so easy to apply! I highly recommend.

This furniture tape is incredible. At the time I was expecting my first child and was deep into nesting mode. We have cats and had gotten lazy about redirecting claws to their scratching to post. This tape provided me ease of mind about bringing a baby into the world and holding/feeding him on this couch. Apart from the ripped areas, the couch is in great condition and this tape revitalized the couch entirely. The tape is easy to use, size up annd cut for your unique needs, and so affordable. Functionally, this tape is holding up for 4 months so far and adheres excellently without any need for heat. I did cut around the foam and loose threads to prepare for the application and it worked out well. I’ve included before and after pictures and the results are seamless.There are a variety of colors to select from and the color I chose was nearly identical. If you weren’t told that the couch was patched, you wouldn’t know. This tape, in addition to other updates has made our apartment more homey.
