Honestly for the price it's great. Fit perfectly and easy on/off. Has the locking tab/button which is a nice plus. Considering how much cheaper it is than the official canon one I can't find any fault with it, and I own a bunch of canon gear with official canon lens hoods. It's definitely a cheaper feeling plastic, but it's a lens hood... It's just fine if it is. I'm more concerned with it's fit and how easy it is to remove/place on the lens. For $12 if it breaks I won't feel bad.

Fits my canon RF 100-400 lens perfectly and works great. Delivery was next day. No complaints.

Delighted with this hood. It fits my RF 28 - 70 mm F2.8 lens perfectly, and appears to be of very good quality. The price is reasonable too... not overpriced like the Canon hoods are.

The hood works great on the Canon 18-135mm lens its fit and finish are great. It is plastic, it does feel and look well built and designed, I have not had the hood for a long period of time so I can not really testify on the durability. The hood can be reversed for easy transport and locks on to the lens well. For the price its an exceptional item I really like the quality of the JJC products and have purchased several of the camera accessories I would recommend this item for anyone looking for a reasonably good priced hood.

Worked beautifully with the 28-70 lens that I ordered. Locks securely in place on lens and does what it is suppose to do. Pleased with my purchase.
