The right tool makes all the difference! My wife is a quilter. She has at least two dozen or more types of scissors and several rotary cutters. She ordered a Madam Sew rotary cutter for Christmas and loved it. The gleam in her eye when she saw this cordless electric scissor unit inspired me to surprise her with one. She has only had it for about a week now and already sings it’s praises. She still uses her many different scissors (I don’t quite understand why she has so many) and her rotary cutters. But when it comes to those long cuts or the tedious cutting up of denim jeans destined for another quilt, she now grabs this electric scissor unit and wonders why she didn’t buy one of these years ago. She has a bit of arthritis in her hands and they ache after her long days working on custom quilts. These scissors make it so simple and easy for her to do long cuts (see photo of her cutting excess quilt backing off with just the simple push of a button rather than repeatedly squeezing scissor blades together for each 5” cut—genius). This scissor unit now sits on her cutting table right next to her other cutting tools so she can quickly grab the right tool when needed. This was not only a win for her, but also a win for me with perfect surprise gift. The right tool does make a difference.P.S. Quality is excellent, solidly built, fits her hand well and has a lithium battery with the initial charge still going strong after this first week.

Bought these to cut knits- I make clothes. They are fast and efficient. Will try next on cotton and twill. They take some getting used to, as they move fast. I think it is just practice. When I opened the box to try they were charged and ready to go! I like that they are cordless. Worth the money so far. I hope they will last for years to come, as they save my hands cutting out fabric, which was my least favorite part of the construction process.

Seems to be a good quality. Sure saves arthritic hands. Zips through material for sewing nicely. A little caution though because there is not a lock so when you pick it up pressing the button is starts. Other than that is really is great.

Got these as a gift and I love them! Makes everything so much faster when cutting large batches of fabric. Only wish there were a safety lock or a full top cap, if you accidentally hit the button when you pick them up it turns right on.

I needed this to improve productivity for my handmade business. It’s great. It cuts through the thick parts of denim with ease and it’s great on my curvy shapes. I’m considering purchasing a second one so my daughters to use when they help me cut my patterns. The only drawback is the noise. It’s almost as loud as my power drill. It still cuts well though.

How did I go years without these? These are absolutely a necessity in anyone’s sewing arsenal… they cut so quickly and so nicely saving so much time! The only thing missing on them is an actual safety switch for on and off ..if you grab them wrong and hit the cutting switch they automatically go into cutting mode,so be careful handling them.
