Don't limit to beach use
I rarely go to a beach, but I camp, trail ride, and have to stay hydrated due to medical issues. I use these at home, on the ground or picnic tables, and in my camper. They are very stable and better than coasters. I just bought 3 more sets for gifts for outdoorsy friends.

Too small
After using my friend's, for sure wanted to order a set for myself. After receiving, discovered these are not large enough to hold a can inside a metal drink coozie.
