My application was for a switch on a booster pump. Position one was for local operation (manual), the center position was off and position 2 was remote. It also had another switch attached to it to pull in a contactor.

Q: Is this a 110/120v switch?

It can handle any voltage up to 240v, and any amperage up to 3A, according to Mfgr ratings. It is just a 3-position switch, therefore it contains 2 sets of Normally Open contacts, which each close as the switch is operated. Upon contact closure, it will pass thru the contact whatever voltage you have supplied, provided the load does not exceed 3Amps.

The switch is held in place by tightening the two screws on the backside against the inside of your panel. Once your 22mm (7/8") hole is drilled/punched out, insert the knob portion only into the hole from the outside, then attach the body to the knob from the inside. Orient the entire assembly in the direction you want it to end up in and maintain that position as you turn the 2 screws in to lock against the panel surface. Take turns tightening the screws so that the result is even pressure from both screws and the knob seals evenly against your panel/enclosure. The switch assembly can only be held together permanently when there is a surface present for the screws to tighten up against.
