Battery fit and function is as advertised.
The battery was delivered timely, was a perfect replacement for the original, was charged and ready for service. Hoping it will have good service life. So far am very satisfied.

It works
The laptop recognized the new battery, and it charged up with no problem. Now the old Dell can be used without it being plugged in all the time. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Serious Rubbish
1st GHU battery would not charge over 69%. 4 of 5 lights lit when pressing the button. Lasts about 1 hour on a single charge vs. 3.5 hours with the original laptop battery. Drained and recharged the GHU battery twice and no improvement. Now only charges to 65%. Returned and requested replacement.Received a 2nd GHU battery that showed 5 out 5 lights out of the box, which looked promising. When installed on the lap top, power showed 0% charge and would not accept a charge. Tried multiple times to reset the lap top power setting without success.Looking for alternatives…

Charge does last as quite as long as I would expect for a nine battery unit
I expected it to hold a charge longer. However maybe it's because I use my XPS laptop core i7 with many websites open at the same time but I need many sites open for reference. If i keep the laptop plugged in no problem but 45 min away from electracy = dead laptop

Did The Trick Now
Very easy to install and if you have an XPS Dell Laptop with the light on back flashing white and yellow you probably need a new battery or charger....I replaced the charger and I still had the problem of a dead battery....so got a new battery and it works great....Thanks to Amazon having specialty products.

It was super easy to replace the 900 year old Battery with this one and it worked like the old one had almost 10 years ago plus that it was reasonably Priced it was cheaper at Amazon than Dell I didnt like the rear of the battery where it had a ridge and didnt sit well on my cooling pad but to be honest this battery was perfect for the machine it went into

BC09 XPS Battery. BEWARE!
Lasted a year then wouldnt charge anymore. For 40 bucks You would expect quality batterys. That doesnt seem to be the case.
