I placed this by the window, where my cats enjoy looking out, and they just love watching the squirrels eat. The squirrels themselves took to this right away and left our bird feeder alone now.

We started putting this seed out in our backyard and now we’ve got a family of bunnies and squirrels, along with different varieties of birds. I think it’s safe to say that animals enjoy it and would give it 5 stars. 😉

A good mixture of food that wildlife enjoys

Let me start by saying that these backyard critters can be picky eaters. Squirrels specifically, will hold out for walnuts . These are not dumb animals . This seed mixture includes quite a lot of oral and grass seeds, which our forest-living, urban squrrels won’t eat. The birds will, so it’s not wasted, but our picky squirrels picked out the corn and sunflower seeds and occasional peanut and left the rest, which of course, was tough to dig out of the squirrel feeder. These squirrels seem to like pigeon food better.
