I decided to take chance on this purchase of High John Root and I’m glad I did! I have four pieces of REAL High John The Conqueror Root that are the perfect size! They smell smoky just as it should. People saying it’s wood literally don’t know what they’re talking about. If you break up High John (which is totally okay to do because there’s powder, incense and small pieces you need for several reasons, just be respectful and mindful when doing so) it looks similar to wood, it is a root after all! The reviews are all over the place and obviously some customers didn’t get what they were expecting, that’s fair. My experience has been good and the product is beyond my expectations. Great pieces for the price! Thank you!

About four nice size pieces more than likely has to be cut to fit in small bottle looks a lot more smoother than other high John roots I've purchased might purchase agin after I see how it dose in the oil

First of all, the item is very small. The package/bag is about 1x2 inches. I received the bag with the 'roots' in pieces. There is not one piece big enough to do anything with, it's mostly crumbs of wood, almost dust like. Terrible item.... DO NOT PURCHASE!
