Nice little foot switch
Good quality foot switch, works well. There were some similar ones, some cheaper, some more expensive, all I can say is this one is well built and does the job and also grips the floor nicely

a bit too clicky, but built like a tank
built like a tank, very heavy and sturdy and the packaging was almost overboard. works great, but you will hear a small click with each press, which may be irritating to some

Nicely made, quiet and effective
I bought two of these as I needed something to control my (now very old) Alesis SR-16 drum machine. It's more or less coincidence that these happen to be Alesis branded — they're just some of the cheapest decently reviewed pedals around. They're definitely better than the price would suggest, even though their plastic construction means that repeated jumping up and down on them wouldn't be the best thing to do. Look elsewhere for a metal version (Boss make some nice ones) if your pedal-stomping involves your entire body weight. They're also quiet — many pedals have an annoyingly loud click, but these just get the job done without shouting about it. And the polarity switch is useful, making them truly multi-purpose (within limits — you can't use them to wash the dishes or listen to the radio, for example). Recommended.

Better than expected
This is much better than you think it's going to be. Solid metal construction. I just wish they made them with a jack socket so you could use your own lead.

The best option for a compact sustain pedal
If you want something more portable than a piano style sustain pedal I think that this one is the best option. It is built very solidly, unlike pretty much anything else at this price it is all metal. It had a polarity switch. Works perfectly with Native Instruments keyboard controllers and pretty much anything else.

Easy fix but not currently fit for purpose.
This pedal breaks even at the thought of you stepping on it.Solid casing and overall decent build. How ever, the component that connects the circuit when you press the pedal is USELESS, 3 of these have broken on me within maybe 10 gigs. The other pedal I use (plastic case) has lasted me like 5 years of regular use.I have ‘upgraded’ with a shaped/cut down (medium sized) paper clip as shown in photos, which is currently holding up. Seems like a waste of an otherwise decent pedal sending it to a landfill.

Great piece of kit for the price
Sturdy and well made. Metal and rubber. For anyone interested, this will work with the rock band drums controller as a replacement kick pedal, but you'll need a 1/8" (6.35mm) female to 1/4" (3.5mm) male adapter.Tested on Xbox 360 wireless Rock Band Drums on Rock Band 3
