2-Pack Universal Mag Carrier IWB/OWB Magazine Holster for 45 ACP Single Stack Magazines

Bought these to replace a broken two mag carrier that I have had for a few decades. Once adjusted, they hold my magazines firmly, but drawing them is a breeze. These are a great option for single stack 1911 magazines.EDIT: I noted a few reviews mentioning that these were not holding single stack magazines securely. There is an adjustment screw to set tension and mine came with the Allen wrench needed to make that adjustment. Getting the tension I am used to only took a few seconds and the screw has held its position since I made the initial adjustment. Hundreds of draws on each and they remain where I want them.They are also ambi, the clip can be moved to either side of the holder. I carry mine to the inside of my belt, clip facing outward. I had to move the clip tot he other side of the holder to facilitate this. Took about a minute to convert both.

I was not sure of this design when I ordered but they are great and the price makes it worthwhile to take a chance. The adjustment to accommodate different mags actually works. Very sturdy item. They hold my 1911 single stacks just fine.

Good price, quality clips

These magazines (a 2 pack) are more a compromise, smaller than 9MM dbl stack and thicker than single stack. I did not find them suitable for 45 single stack or for 9/40 dbl stack or 9mm single stack. The single stack mags were loose and would not be secure. The dbl stack were too thick and not usable. What did work was the S-A Hellcat mags, The Hellcat mags are sometimes referred to as 1 1/2 stack and fit this design well with good retention. For the price and this special niche I gave them a four star review. The Hellcat is very popular and not every mag holder offered is compatible with its design so I was pleased to have stumbled onto this. Keep in mind that these are not fullsize so higher capacity magazines may not seat deep enough but for the smaller 9mm models offered today, such as the Hellcat, they work well, even with the newer 15 round mags. I am pleased to have them for this special purpose.

The mags work and can be adjusted to hold single stack 1911 mags. Just don't leave the mag in the holster while tightening. You can't see the mag getting tighter, so you can end up crushing the mag while turning the wrench.

Definitely worth the price, very adjustable too. It fits 9mm, 10mm, or 45!

Great use for single stack .45 adjustment is easy. Setting tension is easy - does require Allen wrench (provided). Set the level of retention you desire.

I’ve tried them out for about a month. They are “okay”, they look nice and match my custom made holster. BUT my biggest probem with these that I want people to be aware of if they are thinking about buying these is if you loosen up the retention and it doesn’t seem like the retention screws wouldn’t fall out? Trust me they will fall out and you won’t notice it till you take it off your waist. I lost the screws after loosening it so my .45 mag would sit properly and be easy to grab when needed.So in short - they are okay, nice looking, but don’t loosen the factory / preset retention or they will disappear. So I’m going to need to find new mag holsters.
