I used to have these books when I was a child, so I was really excited to share the experience with him.It turned out to be the perfect activity — something fun and engaging to do that wasn’t screen time. My five-year-old really enjoyed spotting things in London and matching them to the book. It made the trip more interactive and kept him entertained along the way.The book itself is small and lightweight, which makes it really portable and ideal for travel. It slipped easily into my bag and was ready to pull out whenever we had a spare moment.Another great feature is that once you’ve collected enough points, you can apply for a certificate. My son loved working towards that goal over the summer holidays, and it gave the whole activity an extra sense of achievement.Overall, this iSpy book was a wonderful mix of nostalgia for me and discovery for my son — highly recommended for travel and family adventures.

Provided a good source of interest and focus whilst trekking around London on a first visit.

Good small book to take to London. Kept our 7 year old entertained looking for all the things to find and tick off. Especially good on a river trip.The book itself is really small, which is handy for carrying around. And had some good fun facts about each thing you spot.

My children love this book for our trips to London. It’s informative and the perfect travel size for carrying around. It has kept them entertained whilst travelling and is very engaging, they are determined to complete the book and tick off all of the sights in it! The book also provided some great ideas of things to see and do whilst we were in London.

Really good little book for encouraging curiosity about the world around us, and a fabulous boredom buster. Would take a good few days to tick everything off

Bought for a weekend away with our children and we found it excellent for both planning and remembering the trip. We had intended it as something to keep them entertained whilst we stopped for a coffee, waited for a train etc but they enjoyed looking at it before the trip and identifying places they would like to visit. The pictures and minimal text mean that it was actually more useful in that respect than actual kid's guides to London especially for my youngest child. It was also a useful prompt when we returned home for our children to look through, be reminded about what they had seen and tell family members and friends who wanted to her their trip about it. It was an excellent book, especially for the price and we will be buying more in this series.
