Works great
It worked really well for me as a beginner. It's a nice sized chip so I snipped some of them in half and that worked also for the small size I soldered. Plenty of chips to use. Only thing I recommend is not stapling the small baggies because the staple tried to go through one of the solder chips.

Do not use for jewelry making... or anything else for that matter
Pretty awful and useless. I don't know what this stuff is made of, but it does not behave like silver solder used in jewelry making, not in any way. It's also an odd color. After it gets heated, it turns into an oxidized mess. It doesn't "melt" the same way solder does, nor does it flow, even after turning bright glowing read. If you heat it enough, it will get a bit soft, and you can kind of "stick" it onto the base metal, but it will never flow, no matter your flux situation. In fact, as a test, I just left the heat on it well after it turned glowing red/yellow... some pieces actually exploded, and the rest turned into little bits of ash, from just a simple butane hobby torch (no oxy-acetylene here...).Thanks goodness I tried playing with it on scrap first instead of the piece I was working on.

Nice product
Bought this silver to use as solder on silver wire. Melts really well. Just touch it with your iron and place were you want. Great product

Ruined my jewelery
I’m not adept at soldering enough to know if this works or not but I’ve been using it

It will ruin your work
The media could not be loaded. DO NOT BUY! Otherwise you’ll be crying like me in a corner. This solder does not behave like solder, it doesn’t melt and will pit and crater your silver. The color seemed more like brass so I’m not sure that it’s actually silver. It completely ruined several jewelry pieces before I narrowed it down to the solder, it’s especially infuriating because silver isn’t cheap and now I have to scrap material and hours worth of work.
