WyzeHome Smart Irrigation Controller, Wi-Fi , 12-Zone, Indoor Enclosure

UPDATE 12/21More issues again. There is always something wrong with the app.UPDATEI have been unable to log on to the app or scs share website when on my home WiFi. I have had to either switch my phone to data or use my work internet to make changes to my irrigation program or run manually.ORIGINAL REVIEWTech support has been abysmal. I reported this issue on April 30. Aside from the basic advice of restarting and clearing the cache, I have recieved zero help. I even recieved a boilerplate email asking me to be patient while scs makes improvements to their system. This wouldn't be that big of a deal if there were manual controls on the controller itself but it is completely dependent on the use of the mobile app or website.If it wasn't for the terrible support, I would have highly recommended this product. It was relatively easy to install via WPS and 12 zones for under 70 bucks is a steal.I would also recommend the ability for the controller to automatically institute a rain delay based on internet weather forecasts like the Rachio.In the end, I wish I paid more for a Rachio. The support and tech seem to be higher quality.

This device works great except for one issue. It cannot be accessed for settings from a LAN. That may not seem like a major problem, yet it makes owners completely dependant on Wyzehome. As long as they remain in business, maintain their Internet server, and the owner has internet access, there is no problem. Otherwise, the owner will never be able to change the program. For me, that is a major issue. UPDATE: Twice now it failed to irrigate my plants. 107 degree day and the soil is dry. The most ridiculous engineering, the device only works when communicating with the online server. WOW, what happens when your internet is down, or their server is down, well your plants will die. How useful is am automated irrigation that has to be monitored every day???? Waste of money.... Very upset.
