LifetimeDeluxe Dog House, Weather Protected with Adjustable Vents, Ideal Shelter for Medium to Large Dogs

With our new pup arriving soon, it was time to build a doghouse. After compiling a list of materials to build it and getting a price on those materials, I decided to look for a ready-made house. After a lot of research and reading, I decided on this house. This cost about $100 more than it cost for the materials to build one myself, not counting my time to do it. This house is made of heavy-duty and quality materials, both the shell and the hardware. The only issue I had was one group of screws in the blister packs was marked incorrectly, but I was easily able to figure out what and where they were used for. Putting the roof on is definitely a 2-person job. It's not that heavy, but you need a second to get it aligned correctly with the slots. Other than that, it looks solid and will look good in the kennel, where I'm sure my new pup will spend very little time anyway, but just in case we need it, it is there.

Sturdy and well designed. Assembly is not difficult but there are many steps and took me an hour or so and I am pretty handy. Instructions say it takes two adults but I am 72 and did it by myself. One of the screw packages was not marked the same as the instructions indicated but that was the only confusing part.

This is exactly what I needed to safely keep my tortoises outside in my NW yard all year round! It seems a little overpriced since it does not come with the heater or have insulation, but I did not need to pay extra for shipping and the box was really heavy so it's worth it! It was very easy to put together using all the require tools, the hinged top lid makes the inside easy to check and maintain, and the middle partition creates 2 rooms so they have temperature options.I bought a lot of other stuff to get my perfect tortoise sanctuary setup. Buyer be aware!The house is ok, seas y to assemble and feels sturdy. Other than that it has absolutely zero insulation, during cold nights inside the house the temperature is the same as outside, and with my husky inside it’s o le about 1C (2F) warmer inside than outside, and on the other side, when hot days, right not I have one thermometer with two sensors that share reading when in same place, the one outside is at 9.2C (48.7F) and the ine insider the house shoutout my dog being inside the hose is at 21.8C (70.8F)I got this for my husky to keep her warm during the winter enjoying of the freedom to go out and run when ever she wanted, unfortunately is not working at all for a regular dog house is extremely expensive, for an insulated dog hose well… it’s not at all. I really regret buying this house.I don’t recommend this product by any means if you are looking for an insulated doghouse.

My American Bully Xl loves to chew and we had a hard time finding a sturdy house for him that is big enough and would last. This is great for bigger breeds. For reference six kids fit inside his house. Yes he chewed the door but otherwise it’s lasted baseball sized hail, tornado watch winds, rain and hot days. My car is dented but his house is totally fine. Great house. We did have to take the center divider out to acomidate his size but rain has not gotten.

Assembly, as with many lifetime products was a breeze. We needed some kind of hard shelter for our ducks to feel comfortable to hide or lay in, so I had a decision to make...design and build my own or buy a prefabbed unit like this lifetime kit. I am overall glad I picked this.Some of the hardware was missing but thankfully I was able to replace some of the washers that were flopping around loose in the box and must've fallen out during shipping. Other than that small hiccup, once you have this put together you have a very attractive and modifiable animal dwelling. We're using this as a duck house so I needed this to remain elevated for routine rinse outs and it being plastic, I don't have to worry about rot setting in like with your typical wood planked dog/animal house. The siding and roof 'texture' helps this little house blend in well in any setting. Very happy with this purchase!

Take your time putting it together and follow the instructions step by step. When installing the roof/lid be sure to get another person to assist you. Once completed it is fantastic.
