CremoAstonishingly Superior Barber Grade Refillable System Razor

I've purchased this razor twice- not because the 1st gave out or broke or anything, merely lost it in a move. I am seriously impressed by this razor, everything from the comfortable, solid feel in my hand, to the sharp, precise blades, ensures an even and close shave. There's a reason I sought it out a 2nd time. It might just be the only razor I ever buy.

I am 66 years old and am one of those guys that when I shave I like to be able to run my hand across the grain of my beard and feel nothing but smoothness. I have used Cremo tube shaving cream for a few years now and have been very happy with it. I also like their Post-shave balm Spiced Amber. I have used a lot of different razors over the years. Gillette Fusion(do not know why their so popular,the handle connects to the bottom of the razor instead of the middle where you have more control of the pressure while shaving)Very expensive blades and not worth the money,have also used Barbosol 6 blade razor there actually not to bad although they tend to nick more often. My number one razor until I discovered Cremo razors was Shick Hydrp 5 Sensor,very good razor.Now I have found the last razor I will ever want to use,Cremo razor is number one now.I am now on my 6th shave(none of my other razors lasted this long,they say they last a month not for me) and it feels like the first shave,I have had no nicks at all,I get a clean baby face shave,do not feel anything when I rub against the grain of my beard. I think a lot of it has to do with the lubricated strip it is fantastic,all the others wear out by the 3rd or 4th shave,mine still going strong. So long story short if you want a really close shave with a great razor givde this Cremo razor a shot I'm glad I did.Best razor ever!!!

Nice razor, made well but I have tried most available and Harry's works better for me. The head of this razor isn't as easy to shave under your nose, even with the guard flipped up. I also get considerably more Knicks with this razor. Thinking I just need to get used to it I gave it a month. No improvement.

Ok so I did some research and wanted to find a razor and blades I can stick with. The razor is really good, perfect weight and sturdy, barber-like quality. The handle could be improved for grip and the flip up trimmer is not that great for getting into small areas, but even with these defects it is the best razor I have used. The blades have these pools of Cremo shave cream, which is the best, and using Cremo shave cream with razor and blades gives a ridiculously close shave. I have a medium beard and can get about three weeks out of a blade, no kidding, and after that it shaves like a normal blade. Great overall value,

don’t try any other razor. This razor is the best razor out. There, blades are not expensive for the razor.

I am a face and head shaver and a Harry's fan for years until they wanted to start pushing their social views and alienating a large segment of their customer base. I had the pleasure of trying this Cremo razor as I have been a huge fan of their shave cream for many years. In my opinion this Cremo razor is an outstanding alternative to Harry's with one minor dislike. The Cremo razor gives a close, comfortable, and stubble free shave. Cremo did an excellent job with the quality and performance of these blades, they are well designed and engineered and definitely give just as good a shave as the Harry's razors which has been my personal benchmark to beat.The one suggestion for Cremo is to give the handle some grip. This is a nicely weighted razor but the handle gets very slick and a challenge to control because there is nothing to help you grip it when its slick with soap and water. It still shaves excellent, you just need to grip the handle tighter.Fix that little issue and this thing is perfect IMO. I am 30-year retired career Army and have done lots of shaving in my time. Give this a try if you just want an excellent razor without being preached to about social issues like Harry's does. Everything Cremo does is top notch and they definitely care about quality based on how well their products perform.

For $20 I expected a more premium-feeling razor handle. When I opened the box, I realized that the handle has a very strange design consisting of a skinny metal piece encased in a clear plastic tube, which can be easily unscrewed for some reason. The part of the handle you actually hold is the plastic tube. The manufacturer could have at least included 4 cartridges to make this razor a better deal for the asking price.As for the razor blades themselves, these are a recolored variant of Schick Hydro5 blades; they have the flip trimmer with signature goo pods and all. For me that's a good thing; Hydro blades (and therefore these blades) have a nice, mild feel on the skin and provide a close shave. I get about 2 weeks of comfortable daily shaves per cartridge before I toss them, but also keep in mind that my facial hair growth is fairly light so your mileage may vary.The actual shave is just fine, but I feel that this handle is overpriced. It really depends if you like the look enough to pay the premium price; just keep in mind that the handle is plastic.

The blades might be slightly more expensive but this is by far the best razor and blades I have ever used. A double edge razor MIGHT do better, I don’t know, but can’t be much better than these. They are better than any mainline brand you can buy. The handle is also a high quality and nice weight. I have been using the same blade for a number of shaves so far with no decline in performance. I was a little worried about the push back trimmer but it worked great to get the razor close to side burns and under the nose. Really very happy with this brand and I have tried several of them. Was ready to switch to a double edged but no need to with this razor.
