The Portrait of a Lady: Collected Stories

For those who have read Khuswant and fallen love with his raucous humour and his unprejudiced, bold takes on some of the potent taboos of our society, this book is appealing to say the least. You get ALL his short stories at 270rs! a great deal for us paperback grabbers. However, of late Flipkart is offering it at 241 rs. But then, unlike Amazon, the shipping isn't free.

I love this book and its one of the best books ever written by khushwant singh. All the stories are very addictive and some of them might make you emotional specially the "portrait of a lady". The binding and the pages of the book were in good condition.

I wouldn't say every story was great but 80% were one of the greatest stories by our beloved old dirty man.Miss you Khushwant ji
