I have only read the first chapters, and I will update this review as I make further progress. Full disclosure, I already finished Calculus many years ago and got this book just to have fun working out problems, so I cannot give you a struggling student's perspective. I am a retired teacher, so I know a bit about how to present material, and I find this book to be well organized and well-written with clear examples. Online links to reinforce the material are good so far. As I say, I'll update as I go.

Good but used
This is one of the best calculus books out there, it's a beast. Well written and explains calculus very well. However, this is a used book, you might as well buy it used. Not worth the price

Best calculus book ever
I have the 4th edition from the early 90's and I still use it every couple of years to keep my skills up and brain active as I move into my 50's. The presentation even back then was top notch and the problems were challenging and made you really exercise. This new edition is just as good.

The textbook is great, but 73 blank pages is unacceptable !!!
The book itself is great - thorough explanations, lots of examples, and good problem sets. I have used various editions of used the Larson Calculus book to teach college level classes since 2004.We turned to Kindle because the publisher e-text we purchased last year was missing crucial equation formatting - go figure! This year, the Kindle version however leaves me scratching my head - 10% of the pages are blank - see the photos. Amazon - please fix this before I order books for next year ... or before I look elsewhere !!!!!

Update to a standard text, with an issue
It's the Larson/Edwards Calculus book. Enough said. But this 12e version has been floating around for a year or more, is chock full of QR codes to online resources, and as far as I can tell NONE of those QR code links work. They seem to link to Larson's calculus text website, which only has material up to the 11th edition. Will it ever be fixed? Who knows? This edition is represented on the CalcView/CalcChat websites however.
