Colorstay Grip™ Matte Primer

I've been using this primer awhile now and it mattifies my skin and blurs my pores, but not too much. It still looks like normal skin. I've worn it under three different foundations-two liquid and one powder and it worked well with all three. It even improved the wear of the foundation I don't like very much! This has a little bit of that silicone slip feel to it, which I like.

This is an excellent powder for someone with sensitive skin. It gives great coverage and lasts hours. Highly recommended.

When it comes to skincare and makeup I’ve never been a fan of the “dewy” look that so many cosmetics companies always seem to push these days and instead prefer a nice matte finish. My skin gets shiny/oily during the day and my go to primer was always Body Shop’s Instablur, but a few years ago they changed the formula and ruined it, and now it’s been discontinued altogether. Every so often I would hunt for an alternative, try two or three different options and always be disappointed, but I’ve finally hit the jackpot with this. It keeps my makeup looking fresh all day long and I’m really glad I found it. Now to pray it doesn’t get discontinued!

Great to use after applying liquid makeup as it sets it but doesn't change the colour. Will continue to purchase.
