STOPWOOFER Dog Bark Collar - No Shock, No Pain, Rechargeable Humane Barking Control Device for S-Small Dogs - w/2 Vibration & Beep Modes

A few months ago I adopted a terrific mixed breed dog who has adjusted well, except for one thing. He barks relentlessly at the TV. I've tried training, treats, etc. I hated the idea of putting a device on him but was about to lose my patience. So I went ahead and ordered the STOPWOOFER.It was very easy to set up, just put in the battery and adjust the collar size. I could adjust the sensitivity if needed, but it was fine as delivered.I put it on him and turned on the TV. He barked a couple of times and the collar buzzed and beeped which totally threw him out of the zone he would normally get into where he was consumed with barking. It essentially distracted him off of the track he was on within two barks. Later he tried again and stopped after one. He seems confused for a few seconds and then moves on to something else.After a day he now won't even start barking. He will do a soft growl sometimes, but I can live with that.I have peace back at TV time. Thank you to the company that makes this.

This does exactly what it says. My 4 month old lab puppy recently found her voice, and although I think she's perfect, I was worried that she wasn't quite as cute to the neighbors barking at 5:30 am. She wears the collar when it's early or very late and I don't want to disturb my neighbors. The beep confuses and distracts her so she usually quits barking after one beep. It's actually pretty funny: she looks around to see where the noise is coming from for several seconds. I have watched her escalate to the beep and buzz and that really got her attention. She hasn't needed more than that (she is supervised with it on). I tried it out myself first and I like that it is humane and won't hurt her. Seems to fit her well with plenty of room to grow.

I have to start off by saying, our younger son had died in 2016, and it was he and I that went and picked out the Maltese for our family in 2007. Her name is Pebbles and she is now 13. She has never liked having her nails done, or her teeth. Every month I struggle cutting her nails, fearing of cutting the wick too short. When I found this item on Amazon, I was hopeful. I now have used it, and this grinder is absolutely amazing! My Pebbles doesn’t mind at all that I am working on her (she used to try and bite me while doing her nails). Thank you for making a wonderful product! I am sure my son is looking down from Heaven happy our Pebbles is feeling more comfortable.

I am stoked! Worked as soon as my dog made his first bark and he remembered it so I only put it few hours a day! My dog is an 8 lbs chihuahua it doesn’t bother him but he won’t be able to curl up while sleeping when it is on his neck so I takes them off after a while. Best investment I had made for my little feisty friend, he barks like crazy before at anyone specially other dogs where there’s abundance here on our apartment and this collar corrected immediately and without pain. All it took to stop my dogs behavior is a beep sound. I rarely gives a review and this definitely deserves one.

Taking my Redbone Coon hound to the dog park was painful for some. One of us had to wear hear plugs as the constant bark and bay of those coon hounds brought on headaches. I'm happy to say StopWoffer works although my pup was not too happy and in time I hope he will learn to have fun without baying. I will say that this collar probably would not hold up to aggressive dog play so I will only use it when we go to the dog park. My dog park friends are very happy with the results, the pup, not so much.

I didn't like the fact that there were two prongs on the back. There are two sets and these were the short ones. Inside instructions say if dog has long hair to use the longer prongs and possibly shave the area where prongs go. I just sent it back. My dachshund is already jumpy and I didn't even want to put this on him. If the pictures had shown these prongs I wouldn't have purchased. So this may be a wonderful product, I just didn't want to try it. Sorry.

I have a son that is on the autism spectrum. He has sensory issues especially when it comes to noise and sounds. We have head phones and special Ear plugs for him which helps but one thing that still drives him over the edge is our German Shepherd Kiko’s barking. Anyone that walks their dog or walks, jogs, bikes by our house- Kiko goes into her loud barking routine that we can’t get her to stop. We also live on a corner and when people turn to continue their exercise on the road that our acre lawn sits along, she follows them barking incessantly. We have an invisible fence and she is well trained to not leave the yard. In fact she doesn’t even need to wear her fence collar. I started searching for a bark collar mostly because my son would yell and scream when Kiko barks -even a slight little bark- causing much anxiety in our house- for everyone!! I came across this collar. I like that it’s only a beep and vibration. I didn’t want a shock and punish her because sometimes her bark is necessary! The first day we had it on her it stopped her barking immediately both when she was inside and outside the house. I’m sure the runners are pleased to not worry about her shadowing them along the way! The only downside for us is the collar resembles the sound of her fence collar. So the first day when she went outside and someone walked by she started barking, the collar beeped and she ran right back into the house and sat on my leg whining. It happened again inside the house- she barked and it beeped and she cane running to me. I then realized she thinks it’s her fence collar and I didn’t want to confuse her. So I took it off. Best solution that works like a miracle- she starts to bark I take the collar and blow into it like it tells you to in order to make sure it’s working and to go through the cycles, and no matter where I am in the house she hears it and stops barking without the freaking out that it’s her fence collar. Sometimes she’ll start a as low growl bark like she wants to go all out, I just pick up the collar and she stops!! THIS COLLAR HAS BEEN A LIFE SAVER FOR PEACE IN OUR HOUSEHOLD❤️
