This size may be a bit snug for your havanese. I recommend going with the Jumbo size (which really isn't that much bigger). Your pet will have plenty of room to sprawl out or curl up.

It depends how tightly he curls up. This is our 70lb Rhodesian ridgebacks favorite bed. She curls up in it like cinnamon roll. Getting ready to buy our third. After about a year of heavy use the sides don’t stand up as well. But we’re cramming a massive dog in a tiny bed so I can’t fault the bed quality
