Bottom line up front, if you're considering buying an inline spark (plug) tester, I highly recommend buying the Lisle version. Sure, you'll spend a bit more on it. For me, it was a "one time use" purchase however this was my *second* purchase because I bought another much cheaper brand the was broken upon arrival. In short, I didn't save any money buying the more affordable version. This Lisle tool is as all others have said, a very solid product with a bulb you can actual find and replace. It is well made, durable and will last for many years of use I'm sure.

Good quality, easy to work with, works great, bright light, like the longer boot for coil packs. Struggled with the shorter one in the beginning. I have the dreaded 5.4l 3 valve v8 F-150 and sparkplugs were just to start with....

I find this device really helpful when I need to quickly see if my small engine has spark. It’s much easier than removing the spark plug and trying to hold it against the engine case. Connecting it inline to the spark plug and cranking the engine gives me instant confirmation if there’s spark or not. It’s a simple improvement that saves me time and hassle.

Deciding whether a small engine has spark is much quicker with this device. It's a lot simpler than removing the spark plug and trying to position it against the engine case. Just connect this inline to the spark plug, start the engine, and you quickly see if there's spark. It makes testing much easier and faster.
