Zotos Texture EFX Color Perm, Treated

With previous home hair perms I’ve always gotten curls or waves, but my color became faded and my hair became fragile. Not with Zotos efx Texture Perm! My color stayed true and there is so much shine. I was looking for more body than actual curls and that is exactly what I got. I used only half of the waving lotion because my hair is mostly short and I did not want to overdo it. I detected no odor. I left it on for less than 10 minutes and used all of the Neutralizer as directed. When wet, my hair was quite curly, but I think the secret of success is in the leave-in splash solution used after perming is complete. I let my hair air dry and then styled it with my curling iron as usual. Beautiful body! Exceptional, soft feel! I love this perm and will only use this brand next time.

I love this perm. I do my own and it saves me so much money plus I can control what kind of curl I want. I use medium sized rods and it give me a great perm that I can wear as natural curly or style it. It usually lasts 6-8 months depending on how much I cut my hair. I keep it just above my shoulders. Just be sure and follow the directions and you should come out with nice looking curls. I have frosted/highlighted hair and it works great on it.

I recently purchased this product and loved it! I have color treated and highlighted hair, so when I decided to perm my hair I had to be very cautious. I didn’t want to fry it and cause any to break off or fall out. I found this one and the reviews seemed pretty good and it could be used on bleached hair, so I gave it a try. I loved it! I have done my own hair for years and this is by far the best perm I have ever used. The curl turned out perfectly and there was no damage. Actually, it feels very soft. In processing, I checked it every three minutes and only processed it for around 10 minutes. It turned out exactly the way I wanted it! The smell wasn’t as bad as others I’ve tried either. Definitely recommend. The only downside, it was delivered with the box damaged. It looked like someone had cut the box open. The contents of the box were falling out. I inspected the products and they all seemed to be in good condition, so I decided to go ahead and use the products. I’m so glad I did! This brand of perm will be my go to for now on!

The perm solution worked as advertised. The Leave-In fortifying splash may contain gluten. The ingredient hydrolyzed vegetable Protein Pg-Propyl Silanetriol could be derived from gluten. A small amount of the Leave-In fortifying splash in one of the perm kit boxes leaked out onto the box. I have a gluten allergy, and I broke out in hives touching the Leave-In fortifying splash. I poured all the Leave-In fortifying splash down the drain, and I used the perm kits without it. The perm solution worked fine without the Leave-In fortifying splash. The product should be sealed better.

This is a really good perm it's easy on the hair and doesn't dry it out

Easy,quick, gentle curl,soft hair, but my hair has a burnt smell that still hasn't gone away a month later. Maybe I left it on too long?

The packaging was open. The perm was in a box and the top had been opened, it looked like it had been opened with a knife. The whole top was cut off. But all of the perm contents was still in the box. Because it was all there and there wasn’t enough time to get another one ordered and delivered; I was limited on time and needed a perm before the holidays. Therefore I went ahead and used the product. I was a little apprehensive since it could have been tampered with, but it did work well and my hair curled ok.So I will NOT be returning the product, despite the damage to the packaging.
