Circulon Contempo 12-Inch Round Griddle, Black

I was shopping for frying pans for my mother and originally was going to get cast iron pans because we have some boys in the house that aren't good in using pots (scratches, using knifes to cut in the pan, and the list goes on) but she didn't want those, so after doing more research I found these pans and everyone is very pleased with the cooking results.After reading the comments posted here and the proper care and usage such as, no high heat (we have a gas stove and have are new high setting as 3 and it works just as well). Have to have a soft scrub bristled scrub brush or sponge, I use both to get the food out of the little grates these pans have not disappointed me. I can cook and egg, pancake and just about anything without the use of butter or oil which is a big bonus for me. My mom does use oil and butter in her cooking and these pans still perform well and as I said we use them on a level 3 gas burner setting.

My last steak grill had given up the ghost, and I was fretting having to plop out close to a hundred dollars to replace it. I saw this for thirty and decided to give it a shot.I've used it about a dozen times, and it has worked perfectly every time. No need to season the grill, or spray with a non-stick or something (in fact, that is discouraged as it will ruin the pan). Cleanup after every meal has been NOTHING. Nothing sticks to this grill and is easier to clean that my previous grill ever was.If I get a year out of this, it will be thirty bucks well spent. But, if I get less than five years out of this, I'll be very surprised. This seems very well built and ready for everything I'm about to put it through.

1st of all, I am a circulon fan. My opinion they some of the best non-stick pans out there, however the tides are shipping. I bought this pan a while back to replace the previous model. (dropped the pan and the handle broke) They since replaced the handle with a full length metal handle, with a silicon like sleeve. Fantastic, yea but the pan itself is getting too thin. I guess their way of saving money. That is where the problem exists. Over time the pan will warp. Have a glass surface......... Other than that the pan works great. Should be 3 1/2 stars, but hey I still like Circulon even if they are getting cheap.

First of all, I love Circulon Contempo. It has never disappointed me, and this grill pan is no exception. I used it for the first time today to grill some steaks and I am very pleased with the results. The pan got up to temperature quickly, and my steaks were grilled nicely. I got great grill marks on my steaks, too. My meat sat above the fat that settled In the bottom of the pan, which was what I was hoping it would do. Next, I'll do shrimp on skewers. As with all Circulon, it cleans up effortlessly. I am more than happy with my new grill pan. This purchase was a thumbs-up for me!!!!!

You can't go wrong with Circulon. It is just the best cookware ever. No burning or scorching, easy clean up, even if you burn your food to a crisp, just let it sit and peel off the burned food, wipe and keep on going. All the products- well cookware I use end in "LON". I have been using them for years. If the food begins to stick and you cant just wipe it clean, fill your pot or skillet with vinegar, water and baking soda warm it and let it sit- rinse and be ready to use it again and again and again, if I could give it 10 stars I would.I had another stove top griller and the food was sticking too much, so I decided to search for the "lon" ware and found it.

Had this before and gave it to my son who was moving. Great pan. Love that I found it again. Easy Easy clean up!!!!

I'm an amateur cooker, kind of enthusiastic and just like tools for the mechanic, a good pan works best for a cooker.I was looking for a grill or something to give the look for my beefs and meats/chickens and this is it. It's very cheap, even for an ordinary pan, very very light and the same awesome quality from circulon.Usually when grilling it's hard to remove, but not with circulon. You can just leave it there and wash it either cold or cool. Use the green side with not much of force and all the crust will easily come off and leave the pan intact.

This is my third Circulon grill pan. Mine last about five years before they become so grungy they have to be replaced. They work wonderfully until then and okay when they are grungy (reduced nonstick effect). My Circulon pans that aren't subjected to as much abuse as this one are ten and still look and work very well but I fry up fake burgers in this one constantly and they seem to leave buildup that won't come off after a while. It's much lighter than the previous one.

Didn't realise we would have to pay more for shipping once it had been delivered we got a text asking for a further £18

Fantastic griddle pan, much bigger than the normal ones. I love it.

So good have recommended to family. Nice and light and extremely non stick. Tuna steaks never looked so good!
