GO WITH KYB! A mechanic warned me!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I thought that because this had 1200 reviews they'd be good even though they're cheap, NOPE WRONG BIG TIME. Any little road disturbance has my suv feeling like a 1960's jeep you hear all the vibration like a car with no damn suspension.Ride quality:On smooth road you can tell it's fixed but any and all little grievances of the road which most roads have it will immediately bang the car with massive vibration underneath. I honestly wish I could get my money back but this cost me a lot to have these installed. I'm going to have to suffer with these for another year. I've had a positive experience with other TRQ parts in the past so I thought this wouldn't matter but my mechanic warned me, he said never go cheap on a Quick strut, KYB is the only one that would mimic an OEM.

Hard to beat for the cost
I replaced my front shocks/struts and rear struts in my 2013 Acura RDX with these because the OEM parts cost almost five times as much as this set which isn't worth it. This is the first non-OEM part I've used to fix my car. They went on just fine. The fit seems to be just right. My only concern is that the rear components aren't nearly as stiff as OEM. The right rear shock went out in my car, but the left rear was still very much intact. I compared how hard it was to compress each of them and the OEM shock was considerably stiffer. This is why I can't give it a five star rating. Time will tell if this is a problem or not. After roughly six to seven months, they still work fine.Like I said, they were one-fifth the cost of what the OEM replacements were. I've had this car for over 13 years and they're not going to make many parts for this anymore at Acura. I'd be happy if they last two to three years. It takes all of maybe two hours to do in total if you have the right jacks/jack stands handy and have some experience working with components on the wheels.

Fit perfectly. Easy to install after watching TRQ install video on youtube
The shocks seem well made and were heavier and more robust than the original. The struts were also solidly constructed. Shocks and struts fit perfectly and it took me about 3 hours to replace all 4 components.Getting the 2 bolt pins out was the hardest part, the video makes it look easy but those things are stuck in there good. I soaked them in penetrating oil and put the nuts back on the end of the bolts to protect the thread and hit them squarely with a hammer to pop them loose.Using a second jack to raise things up was helpful to get it aligned to slip the pins back into the holes.

Smooth ride returned to 2018 Equinox Premier
Installing front struts was completed without any issues. Rear shocks include a stainless steel nylon lock nut and just the shock. You have to remove the retaining fixture from the old rear shock to bolt the shock to the frame. I have an air impact wrench which I used to remove the nut from the top of the old shock. Instructions are lacking on this point. You might think you have the wrong shock when first comparing old and new shock. I did a lot of research before purchasing the TRQ strut and shock absorber kit. I looked for KYB initially but they do not make shocks and struts for the Equinox. I have used Monroe in the past also. I decided to purchase the TRQ kit which arrived 2 days after order placed. My wife texted me this morning that the smooth ride had returned to our Equinox. She is the primary driver of the vehicle. There are a number of negative reviews and I must say that I am happy with the purchase.

Major upgrade standard shocks!
I was going through the regular, mainly duralast, shocks very quickly 1-2 years at best. We have a small family farm so I do put a bit of weight in the back of my 2005 Chevy Suburban. But really 2 years was the best I was getting out of other shocks which at the current not awesome prices is unacceptable. So I started looking for a bit of an upgrade and came across these at a much better price than the part stores. So first off I grabbed a Wearhouse deal (because I love them! ) so mine came in repacked and NOT pre-compressed so that made putting them on a bit more tricky. We just had to jack the truck up in stages because the jacks I had didn't go that high. Other than that they went on pretty easy. LOL It looks like I have a lift kit in the back now. It brought the rear up at least an additional 8".The less the kept up roads around here (including our driveway) are much less bone jarring to drive over now. Much smoother ride, I am going to look for front ones of these now. Some of our frequent outings are over very much in need of TLC roads and with these they were much less of a roller coaster. For comparison it took 300+lbs of animal feed in the back to bring these shocks down to what the other shocks were at brand new with no load in the back.
