Works great on older equipment.
Great Value. Great performance. Easy to use. Look durable. Very easy to connect and compact. No special drivers needed. It was plug and play for an old overhead monitor with VGA in a school. Newer PC only have usb C. Perfect solution.

Great for Work At Home Setup
I bought this because the HDMI to USBC converter I was using kept saying it didn't have enough power for the video conversion. Because my monitors have HDMI and VGA ports, I decided to buy this cord to see if I could still connect my second monitor to my work laptop via the USBC port, but without the annoying power glitches -- and it works PERFECTLY. Of course, I have only used it a few weeks so I'm not sure regarding longevity as of yet, but so far it is working perfectly. I will update if I run into issues.

Not a bad little deal. worth it.
It is a bit slow, but functional for my school work to go from laptop to tv monitor. Fast shipping, would buy from again. Thank you

Sony monitor with VGA input to TB4.
Late 2012 Mac Mini mini display port/TB is connected to Sony with DVI input. Upgraded to Mac Studio M2 and connected HDMI to existing Sansung monitor. Apple adapter TB2 to TB4 didn't connect the Sony display. This much less expensive cable now adds my Sony monitor back by way of VGA to thunderbolt 4. 2024 Mac Studio works perfectly with these two older but still servicable monitors.

Very handy cable
I have a MacBookPro and I sometimes need to teach on a military base with dated VGA projectors. I had used a Thunderbolt to VGA adapter, and then a cable to the wall connection for the projector, but it was too many relays and quality was terrible. This cable worked perfectly. I keep it in my (too massive but that is another story) bag of adapters for the Mac.Five stars!

Worked fine
Worked and connected perfectly. Best part, at a fraction of the price some of the local office stores were asking for similar (if they had it in stock)!
