Worked well, I’ve had this type roller previously and these are just what I expected

They were exactly what I was looking for.

As self griping rollers go, these work well and reliably. They are approximately 1 1/4" round. I have shorter hair, so they worked well. If you have thicker, longer hair, a larger round would probably work better unless you purchase more of these. I use them every once in a while for a little different look and more body. I don't recommend you sleep in them - they are prickly. But I put a scarf on and wear them all day. Works for me. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. I also refuse to 'change' my review for a refund of a product I have given a poor review - and that is offered from time to time. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). It's a shame they phased this rating system out because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,200 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including well over 26,000 likes. BOTTOM LINE: I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

These rollers are easy to use (as soon as you get the hang of the Clips!) and hair dries VERY quickly in them. My only complaint is the very long, "bristle-y" bristles. It's near impossible to get your hair out/off of them without substantial breakage. (of your hair.) SO.... I had my husband use his Beard Trimmer to shave them down by 3/4. Voila!! MUCH more comfortable, and no more hair breaking off trying to unwind them when dry.

The curlers are exactly as described on the website. Very pleased with them.
