Very nice colors, disappointing packaging/labeling
I very well might come back and update this review in the future, but as things are now...I received the set today and set it upside down (tips down) for an hour or so. I tried each pen because of prior comments about some pens not working. All of mine worked absolutely fine, though some took a bit of scribbling to get the ink flowing. No complaints about that since it can happen with any pen.The ink flows very smoothly and the colors are brilliant and vivid. I found myself in testing each pen wanting to find a page to put them to use, but I resisted and finished testing each one. The tips are somewhat wide if you want to do very fine detailed work, but they're fine for most applications. People who color mandalas/paisley with extremely fine lines are probably better off looking for a finer point or using a different medium for the very fine lines. (I use a mix of colored pencils, watercolors, gel pens and eye shadows.)So, all that being said, the star I removed is related only to the packaging and labeling. The very flimsy cylindrical container is okay for something to set on a desk, but it's not easy to store or to take along in travel. I would have very much preferred a plastic or otherwise case that was foldable and had sections labeled neon/glitter/etc.That brings me to the labeling issue. The pens themselves are not labeled in any way. Yes, you can tell from a pink cap that the ink is pink, but you have to examine the pen to see if it's a neon/metallic/pastel/etc. It would be very helpful if the pens were labeled on the caps, e.g., pink neon, blue metallic, etc.Overall, I'm very pleased so far and might get a different thing to store the pens in to make it easier to keep track of the colors and finishes.

Not worth the money, terrible white gel pens
I’ve never had gel pens this bad, it takes a long time to get the ink going and rolling out and that doesn’t last long. I am constantly having to scribble on a scratch sheet of paper to get the ink flowing so I can make a highlight line and even when I do, it flows so poorly that it doesn’t even create an even line (see picture where my lines have no ink in the middle). Makes it really annoying to use and I’m purchasing a set from a different brand.

Good result if you apply only once.
I purchased these to add fine white lines to some cards that I paint. Most of the work has been done in watercolor. However, all the watercolor options I tried failed for one particular purpose, hence promoting me to purchase these gel pins.Actually the cards have a white background and the image to be painted is printed on it in black. Rarely the black lines need to be covered with white. The watercolors were either too translucent or failed to adhere to the black surface and later peeled off. This gel pen did quite well. It requires writing over the black printed portion 2-4 times with a thick coat of the gel ink. This dries well and smoothly. It has remained intact. The only advice or anyone else who might use them for painting is that in my setting, at least, they did not work well to come back later and attempt to add a second coat. This disrupted the first one and created a mess with having to attempt to dab over that to apply enough get to smooth it out.So it is one and done. Put all the white on your design that you will need on the first application as that is your best chance. I suggest testing them first before using them in your final design copy.

Useful but a bit clogged up
I used these but had to take them apart soak and then unclog them.

A little slow to dry, but works great for my needs
I bought these pens for touching up art done in pen and ink. After some tests, it seems to work well for this purpose. The white is clean and opaque enough that it can easily cover the black ink pretty well. They take a bit longer than I'd like to dry (very minor thing). Once dry, the white also takes ink on top without issue and doesn't seem to affect the texture of the paper in any way.As for how it feels using it, it's pretty much just like a pretty standard ball point pen, so no big surprises there.I can't speak for the durability or longevity of these pens yet, as they are still new, but the indications I have so far seem good. They look and feel like they are good quality. All in all I feel these pens are everything I need them to be and the price is very good for the quality of pens you get.

White ink
I love these white ink pens! So far, they are performing very well. They write smoothly, without skips or "clear" areas, and are very bright white and opaque. The roller ball is smooth and does not feel gritty or rough, and the ink flows from the tip evenly and effortlessly. Some white inks tend to either be too think or too think, causing skips and/or puddles on the paper, these do not do that at all. The line they produce is even, smooth and free of clumps or blobs. The ink is also a great blend of pigment and base gel, so there are no times where the gel is all that hits the paper. The ink sits on the paper nicely and provides full coverage.Another thing worth noting - I thought these were water based, but I can say that they may not be. I bought them to use primarily on watercolor paintings for highlights. I used them to address a colored envelope, and some liquid spilled on it. when I wiped away the liquid, I did not have to go over the ink again because it did not wipe away.
