Excellent Value Clone
The media could not be loaded. Excellent value clone of the BM 940 Osborne. The blade was shave sharp right out of the box and perfect blade centering. The action was a little tight so I gave the pivot screw a slight adjustment and now the action is fast and drop shut smooth. The handle is a quality plastic with a carbon fiber pattern but has a solid feel in the hand with no sharp contours or radius’s as was mentioned in other reviews. This was $25 after the $3 coupon was applied. You won’t be disappointed with this one!

940 clone
It looks like a 940, at 1/10th the cost. It's not the quality of a boujee Benchmade. Just an inexpensive knife, that you don't have to worry about getting beat up, or even losing. It's a good way to "test drive" the form factor of the 940, before spending the money on the original. So, it's a good value for what you get, just don't have high expectations.

Perfect daily carry for the low price
Any true knife collectors will quickly spot this as a copy of a well known maker however there is no branding at all on this. In spite of the obvious attempt to copy a certain look this is really a decent knife. Mine locks up solid and the blade is centered perfectly. The steel is obviously average yet after a little work on the precision adjust sharpener it took a fantastic edge. For the low cost this was a no brainer to me if for nothing more than having a daily beater to carry at times.

Sharp knife, needs stronger spring
I like the blade shape and how sharp it is OOTB. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to upgrade the scales. Opening and closing is just a matter of sliding the crossbar and flicking your wrist. The only thing to watch out for, at least on mine, is that the spring on the lock could be stronger. I added a deep carry pocket clip and was storing it in a case, tip up. I wasn't paying as close attention as I should have and didn't realize the blade was opening as I was removing it from the sleeve. I'll have a nice scar on my hand, soon.Yes, it could have been avoided if I was paying closer attention, but a stronger spring would have helped, as well.

Cheap for a reason.
If anyone out there is thinking of buying this in hopes it’s a reasonably accurate clone of the 940-1, it would be my suggestion to look elsewhere. Hold each in different hands immediately tells you all you need to know. One is premium and costs a lot because of that while the other isn’t premium (or even close), and it doesn’t cost very much because of that.Who knows what the steel is, but I will say it’s pretty sharp, which let’s be honest- that’s what you need most from a knife. It needs to cut stuff, but if the steel is cheap, it’s not going to stay sharp for long. We all have reason to suspect this is cheap steel. There no reason for it not to be.So what we have here is a cheap pretty sharp knife that I would feel much better about if it wasn’t trying to be something it falls miles short of- the legendary 940, in this case the 940-1.

Well manufactured knife for the price
blade was sharp upon receiving, looks like a bench made 940 and works like one just as sharp but i believe the blade it tool steel D2 instead of the S30V of the bench made. the Kinfe is light weight has a good grip and is easy to use opening can be done by a simple flick of the thumb and closing can be done by moving the axis lock down towards the base of the grip.

Almost Good. Just OK.
It's not a bad knife. The lockup is good. The centering is spot on. The scales have some flex to them. It was stiff to open but after fidgeting with it for half an hour, it's smooth now. The Omega springs are definitely weaker than a real 940. Weaker than any Ganzo AXIS lock knives I own too. The handle is the exact dimensions of a real 940 but the blade is definitely smaller. It's a 16th of an inch smaller in width and an 8th of an inch smaller in length. My days of being able to afford real Benchmades are over so I bought this knife to treat myself. I paid $22 for it with a coupon. If I had paid more for it, I would be upset.

Great copy
I’m truly amazed at Chinese ingenuity. 8cr13moV, yes. A bit flexy, yes. Great action, yes. All for 1/10th Benchmade the price. How much would it cost for better scales, springs and knife steel? $40,$20,$40. Benchmade makes at fine product, you just have to pay markup. If you just want something to fidget with and cut boxes you could do worse!
