Recently installed an older Memphis mono amp in my truck. It works great but didn't include the original remote from Memphis. Turns out not all RJ11 remotes are compatible, so I started looking for a universal gain control knob and came across this. So easy to install and I love the fact that it came with a LED display digital voltmeter.

it turns my bass amp on shows the voltage that you can calibrate but it takes the 5 volt signal from my pre-amp output and cuts it down to 1 volt to feed the signal. Sounds like i hooked up my comp psi 12 directly to the head unit with no amp
