Solid performance and great value for money
The AMD Ryzen 5 5500 was an excellent choice for my PC. Installation was straightforward, and the included Wraith Stealth cooler maintains good temperatures without needing to invest in another one. With its 6 cores and 12 threads, the performance is more than enough for multitasking, gaming, and demanding programs. It feels fast, stable, and reliable, and offers great value for money. Without a doubt, a processor that meets and exceeds expectations.

Very fast
It’s very fast and I love the stock cooler because It’s good for a little bit of overclocking, but not too much. I love the stealth cooler and I like how it’s cheap and it’s a very good budget CPU and it performs amazing!

Solid Budget CPU For Under $100
This CPU's performance for the money is remarkable, It's able to be overclocked and undervolted with decent performance gains for doing so. Some important things to know before buying it is that it lacks integrated graphics (requires a VGA video adapter AKA graphics card for display out) and it only supports up to PCIe 3.0, which does reduce your GPU performance a tad. (although its not really noticeable under most circumstances) The cooling requirements are pretty minimal given the CPU's low 65W TDP (Thermal Design Power) rating. The included cooler will keep it within safe operating temperatures unless under extreme load and overclocked in any way. I do however always recommend a decent aftermarket budget cooler. As with any AM4 CPU the pins are rather easy to bend by accident, be careful during installation. Overall a very good entry level AMD CPU for gaming and light professional work. 10/10

Great cpu
This is a great budget part for a gaming PC. I use it for 4k gaming and it works well with most games that are not CPU dependant. It has 6 cores which is a sweet spot for gaming. The CPU stays nice and cool with the stock cooler under load. This is a good processor for a 4k rig. Pcie 3.0 makes very little difference in game play.

It’s awesome.
Works very well and it’s not a bad budget option especially as a temporary for a more expensive am4 chip. Over all it’s very good.

Good budget CPU with solid performance and multitasking
The AMD Ryzen 5 5500 is a good choice for budget builds. With 6 cores and 12 threads, it handles multitasking well and runs everyday applications and games smoothly. Overall performance is quite good for the price, making it a strong option for entry level to mid range PCs. Installation was easy, and the included Wraith Stealth cooler is convenient, though under heavier loads the CPU can sometimes reach over 80°C, which is something to keep in mind. Build quality feels solid, and the processor has been reliable. It’s important to note that this CPU has no integrated graphics, so a dedicated GPU is required. Despite that, it offers good quality and value, especially for users looking to build an affordable system with decent performance.

Great budget friendly chip
Last computer I built was an old AMD FX Core back in like 2014. It ran good and still runs good to this day. But obviously Windows requirements made it obsolete. I just built a new PC on a budget using this guy and I can say, wow. Fast, snappy. Does gaming fine. Way more than pleased, especially with 32gb of ram. Moves it right along.
