SIM Card Adapter, Helect 5-in-1 Nano & Micro SIM Card Adapter Kit Converter with Polish Chip and Eject Needle - H1050

My Galaxy S7, brand new last Spring, has a problem with the headphone jack so I have to send it in for service and needed a way to be able to use my old S5 phone in the repair interim. The S5 uses a larger micro sim. At first, the nano sim, bought from ATT, didn't fit in the micro sim adapter, but ever the slightest filing of the angle part and end, and we are talking incredibly slight, and boom, it fit and stayed in place. There are stickers to hold the sim (only one per) but I don't seem to need it in trials. Product seems to be high quality aluminum. it works, it's cheap, and it's well made.

Until I looked on Amazon, I didn't know this even existed. Switching phones for my wife - her current phone has a nano SIM, switching her to one that takes a micro. Dreaded going to AT&T for a new SIM. This set was really inexpensive and shipped free (Prime), figured it was worth a try. Used it this AM and worked a treat. It comes with stickers to help hold the SIM in the adapter but I didn't even need it - just popped it in and it stayed. No problem using it in phone, either. Adapters are metal, BTW. This set is cheaper than a trip to the AT&T store, too.

I love this product it was inexpensive and actually works. This product is very durable and strong and came with multiple sizes and a tool to help get tray out. I bought this product spacificly for the micro size and it is perfect for what I needed it for. Even though you only get 1 micro size and 2 other sizes it also comes with a file so if need be you can adjust the size by filing... definitely recommend!

This SIM card Adapter kit gets the job done just fine. My SIM cards fit in here with no need for filing or adjustment. I did not even realize that the paper pieces included with each adapter weren't in fact labels, but sticky paper to help secure/stabilise the sim in the adapter. Thats pretty cool. My last kit didn't include that. I also appreciate the packaging - it allows you to replace the items in their rightful spot securely and slide the plastic back into the card. This way you don't lose any parts and everything stays in one place. No complaints.

I love that this product is made out of what feels like aluminum. The SIM card did not quite fit perfectly. It shaved a small piece of the SIM card off when I pushed it in. I’m not sure yet if this will cause any problems because I haven’t put it back in the other devise yet. I don’t think it will, but the fit needs a small tweak. Way better than the last one I had though!

Popped the old SIM out. Put the new SIM in the tray/adapter, popped it in, and works perfectly. This was the cheapest adapter kit I could find on Amazon at the time of purchase. I was surprised, because this kit comes with a polish chip (to clean the contact points -- if your device has a hard time reading SIM cards). I would definitely buy again, and will recommend to others.

These adapters are slightly, but noticeably, thicker than SIM cards. This can create a situation whereby the can damage the very delicate contacts in the SIM slot when the card and adapter are removed. This happened to me. As the card and adapter were being removed from the slot, the adapter caught on the delicate gold contacts and bent them the wrong way. I was able to bend them back with much care and patience but am not certain they still function correctly. Furthermore, the adapters are made of aluminum and are stamped out of aluminum sheets. My initial thought was that being made of metal, they would be more durable. The problem is the stamping process creates rough edges and burs. This is known as "stamping flash" and is common in products that are stamped out. However, for this application, this is unacceptable. The so-called "polishing chip" is a small piece of VERY coarse emery board that you are presumably supposed to used to sand off the rough edges and burs, although there are no instructions on doing this. I used some much finer emery paper to remove the hazardous, excess material from one of the adapters in my package. Even after doing this, the fact remains that the extra thickness of the card can cause it to catch on the slot contacts. Additionally, the only thing that keeps the card in the adapter is a friction fit at the inner edges. As the card and adapter are inserted or removed, the SIM card can begin to fall from the inside of the adapter, further increasing the possibility of damaging the slot electrical contacts. I don't often give bad reviews. More often, I like to talk about good products people will find value in and point out nuances and details that may not be apparent in the ad. I suggest you look elsewhere but be aware that some of the issues I (and others) have cited here may exist in other products as well.

I've been needing a set of adapters for sim cards as well as a removal tool and I decided to go with this set. I once bought a set before long ago and it wasn't nearly as nice as this one is. Each adapter is made from a metal which makes them solid and there's little risk of them breaking like any competitors product made from plastic, and also have a shiny metallic finish. You won't go wrong with this product given its reasonable pricing and sturdy build quality. I expect the product to last me a very long time. Keep in mind it may take a little work to fit the sim into the adapter but I assure you this is so that the sim won't fall out easily (I've tested this out).

Ha tutte le misure e incastrano benissimo! In più ha lo strumento per aprire lo scomparto della sim (tipo ago) e una lima (tipo quelle delle unghie, che non ho capito a cosa serve) Se cercate un adattatore per sim, l'acquisto di questo prodotto è il top! Acheté pour une personne âgée, la carte n’a jamais tenu dans l’adaptateur et elle n’a pas pu être lue par l’appareil. J’ai retrouvé un autre adaptateur qui convenait beaucoup mieux.

With the sticky paper the item becomes too thick doesn’t fit into the sim card slot and the paper gets torn apart. Without the paper it doesn’t provide enough grip and the card falls out.

We had to use an older phone for a short time after a student broke their newer model. The sim card adapter worked perfectly for an older blackberry pearl. It was very easy to understand, the card adapter fit the card and phone perfectly.
