Perfect for preparing capsules with a medicine for my cat. The only thing available from the vet was a liquid with a 5 ml dose (not going to get that much down his throat) or a very bitter tasting powder. Nothing worked to disguise the powder, so ordered these capsules with the scoopers to make the meds up into something he can swallow without tasting. Read the info on the different size capsules (googled it) to find out what size to order. The medicine dose was 1/8th teaspoon of powder, and the size 1 capsule was recommended. The scooper that comes with the capsules fits down into the capsule for easy filling. I held the capsule half over the bottle of powder to catch some of the powder that didn't make it into the capsule. The other nice thing about this bundle is that the capsules themselves snap together with a click, so you know you have reassembled them correctly and they won't fall open during handling.

These capsules work well to snap together around contents securely. Even if pill is room temperature damp, they don't fall apart quickly. The heat of the body is needed in the stomach before these dissolve, as they should. I did have problem closing empty end over the filled side because that supplement powder was more fine granular and I needed to stretch-out the edge of the empty top of capsule with my finger or a round small measuring spoon, to allow empty cap to more easily go over the filled end capsule. Made for extra work, but once in a rhythm, I could make each pill in about 10-15 seconds. As the more super fine powder seems to coat the outside/inside of capsules and putting together is easier to do. Tiny Measuring Spoon set from Amazon, does the job for hours filling capsules and tapping powder into capsule before putting cover end over the filled half to snap together and shut. Saves lots of money and just the product without fillers by making your own dry supplements or wet pastes. I recommend these capsules.

Easy to swallow

I used these to encapsulate my placenta. It worked. Very time consuming though, if planning to do something but the scraper tool to help fill capsule. A few capsules came undone when packaged.
