First, I love the fact that there is an explanation on the different cuts and subsequent quality of the saffron. Although I have been purchasing and cooking with saffron for years, I never knew these details. It's wonderful to become educated and also receive a high quality product.When opening the jar, I was immediately struck by the divine aroma of the saffron. It was fragrant and smelled undoubtedly fresh. The color of the saffron is also a vibrant red which supports that this is a high quality product.I used the saffron this past Friday night and made some rice for some friends who came over. I was complimented by my friends on the amazing saffron flavor and fragrance.I also felt like the quantity I received was really worth the expense. Overall, I am really happy with my purchase and will definitely be a return customer. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to buy saffron.

This is one of my favorite brands, (though not my first choice) this is by far one of the best out there !Deep red color, no yellow at all. Perfect trumpet shapes, water test comes out perfectly and hold well after wet and soaked.Tastes great in tea and rice dishes. Enjoy !!

I received this Zaraffe saffron today on January 31st, 2020. The expiration date on the bottle is Februrary 2020, which begins TOMORROW! Also, it has many yellow strands in it, so it wasn't even that great when it was fresh. How many years old is this, Zaraffe? Shameful to send expired food products to people, especially when they are so expensive!

Used in a recipe and you wouldn't even know there was saffron in it. I have longed used saffron in my cooking, and this was very disappointing I probably should have expected this for the price, but there were quite a few positive reviews.

Great product! I use for appetite suppressant which seems to be working well and also boosts my serotonin level! Definitely recommend. They have great saffron with no unnecessary fillers like some others might have.

I just made a big pot of Chicken Noodle Soup and added some Persian Saffron to the soup and it was delicious. I love Saffron, some distributors over price it. Me being on Disability the price of your Saffron makes me a happy person. I love all kinds of Saffron, but the Persian Saffron seems to be the BEST! The flavor it gives food is fabulous. Thank you.
