Review: I recommend this to my clients - I have become incredibly discerning regarding the books I both read and recommend to others, especially about executive coaching, and leadership. It is always refreshing to find book that is both useful for the coach and for the clients they are working with. The Complete Corporate Coaching Toolkit is one such book. The book is designed for both professional coaches and executives who may prefer their own developmental route. In either case the reader will benefit from the wealth of information contained within the pages. Although described as a toolkit, this could easily be described as a field book too. The first part of the book looks at the fundamentals of coaching before moving onto the key elements of the toolkit itself. Looking at many of the most important aspects of executive coaching/development and leadership, including emotional intelligence, effective communication, leadership, teams, and stakeholder management to name but a few, the book provides both an overview and a range of exercises for development. Each of these is well explained and allows the reader or facilitator to utilise the exercises and activities for the benefit of themselves or their clients. I found the use of colour throughout the book to be incredibly refreshing as well as making for an easier read. Graphics are well explained and the use of quotes throughout the book provides additional food for thought. There are also blank pages for completion of exercises as well as gathering your own thoughts and feelings. The appendix section provides additional questions that can be used in a coaching engagement and the resources section includes a link to download the tools from the book, though this is a subscription option. The copy that I reviewed was a hardback edition and I would certainly recommend to my clients purchasing the paperback version, simply for ease of use. If I had one request for the 2nd edition, it would be the inclusion of an index. If you are an executive or leadership coach or if you are looking to develop your management, leadership, and executive skills, then I would recommend this book to you. Review: This is the archetypal guide for 21st Century all coaches and business leaders. - Having known Monica for many years, I was delighted to find that she has shared her knowledge and experience with others. Working in the international corporate world identified to her what was missing and her years of experience as a corporate coach has given her the opportunity to share something very special. Many coaching books have one or two particularly good sections, but with this book; you can start at the beginning and every page is of value. Splitting it across seven sections – Leadership, Effective Communication, Emotional Intelligence, Stakeholder Management, Influencing and Negotiation, Personal Efficiency and Effectiveness, and Life Balance – takes you on a personal and professional path of growth, while giving you the skilfulness to utilise the right tool each time you are coaching/working with someone else. The tools in this book can be used in many ways. You can use them for your own personal and professional development and growth, as well as used by you within your corporate sphere: helping others in their personal and professional development and growth. While this book focuses on Corporate Coaching, coaches who are working in a different niche can also benefit from this toolkit. This is the archetypal guide for 21st Century corporate coaches and business leaders.

Everything a modern executive coach needs to know
This is an excellent book covering all aspects of the non technical side of being up an executive coach, what you might call the 'soft skills'. Executives may arrive at their high level posts precisely because of such technical skill, but to work with people and get things done is a different matter. This book will help the executive and their coach alike. It covers a wealth of topics such as leadership, effective communication, emotional intelligence, stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation, personal efficiency and effectiveness and life balance. This last point is crucial - executive success is built on a foundation of personal wellbeing, which is essential. What really sets this book apart is the provision of many coaching tools that can be customised to the coach's brand and used in coaching assignments, with comprehensive instructions on how best to use them. I have the Kindle version, which you can see in the pictures, one on a kindle device and the other on my phone. This works very well.

I have used this book to help guide my personal growth both personally and professionally. It has been extremely helpful as I recently transferred into a new role with a larger number of both direct and indirect reports. The book gives you a powerful framework both to help yourself and others. In particular I found the overall structure and the organization of the book encourages you to identify the correct tool and allow you to get back and extract it for the use in the specific situation.

I purchased this book after an MCC coaching colleague of mine raved about it. When I looked at it, it was easy to see what she was raving about. In the past, when I've been coaching executives in the corporate space, it would have been VERY useful to have a book full of resources like this on hand. Also, now, as a leader myself, the exercises are very useful personally, too. I would recommend this book for coaches who are experienced in, new to or considering entering corporate coaching. I would also recommend it to any leader who wants to develop their leadership capacity.

This book is unique as it is a comprehensive, highly practical toolkit that coaches and executives/leaders can use, either as additional tools for the coaching process or for self-development of soft skills. I really like how every tool includes a section on how to use it and a bit of context/information about it. The different tools are also connected to other tools in the book; you can connect the different parts. The book covers the most important themes and aspects of soft leadership skills: a reference and pragmatic toolkit to be used anytime or as a point for further exploration!
