My dogs love it!
We are using this for our dogs, in the garage, in TEXAS! This summer has already been hot even for Texas and this evap cooler has been doing the job keeping our 140lb Rottweiler and 55lb Olde English Bulldogge more comfortable outside. The key is USE ICE WATER. We put bags of ice in our biggest ice chest and added water. We fill jugs of ice water and use it in the evaporator. It’s like an air conditioner blowing. Using room temperature water WILL NOT get you any cooler whatsoever. Use ice water and use ice packs in the top to help maintain it. I don’t recommend using this indoors UNLESS you also place the whole evaporator onto a drip pan of some sort. The water does leak through the paper filter on back every time I fill it. Since we are using it in the garage it’s irrelevant to us, but indoors it would be a major issue. The colder the water, the longer it takes to evaporate. When I fill it at night, it still has water in the morning. During the day I fill it maybe twice…on a 100-105 degree day. On a 90 degree day I fill once in the morning and once at night. It blows really well. Just remember ICE WATER, not cold, not fridge; ICE! PAN if using indoors. Dogs love it.

Don't be fooled
My wife and I purchased this to cool our small office which has poor ventilation because it was a garage turned den with one AC vent that blows little air. It arrived on time without wheels, a remote, or ice packs as described. Was going to keep it anyway if it worked. Much to our disappointment, it feels like a regular fan that blows hot air -even with ice packs and on cool mode. Don't waste your time or money. UPS is picking it up tomorrow. Refund please 🥺

A little loud, but better than sweating
It is a little bit louder than I was hoping it would be but that’s better than swearing your balls off. Puts out a nice cool breeze and the timing shutoff feature is very nice. Wheels are easy to get on and it makes moving it around the room easier. For the price you pu this is a pretty nice purchase over all

Leaky but works ok if no other option to have AC
When pouring water on top, I have to pour at a very slow rate (almost a pencil diameter) or else the water will leak through the back where the filter is. Filter is a paper-like material held by a plastic backing that's flimsy. Best for very small or personal space use only. This unit is primarily plastic, including the directional blades. The front blades can manually be changed to direct air to be blown upwards/downwards. The "swinging" function is convenient, there's vertical blades behind the front blades that will move by itself (side to side) when the swinging button is on. The unit itself does not rotate. The wheels on the bottom are easy to install (push in), and comes in handy when unit needs to be moved. I don't trust that the unit won't leak if I don't check on it every now and then, so I have a pan underneath in case there's a leak when using the HIGH setting. There is a constant water trickling sound when the cooling button is in ON position. This beats using a regular fan but it's not a perfect solution if there's no way to have an AC. Remote works well but there's no storage for it so keep track of where you keep it.

Overpriced fan
For about the same size, and half the price you’re getting the same thing as portable AC. Sound great? Well unfortunately it’s not. Even with the ice packs, being utilized that come with this unit it doesn’t make a big difference, I would say this couldn’t drop the temperature in a small room on a hot day by more than a fan degrees, and only in a single direction even with the setting for swivel. A bladed fan for 10-20$ will do you just as good and use up less electricity, only difference being is it is more silent, and more atheistically pleasing. The best thing about it is the ice packs can be used for keeping your lunch cool. :)

It's the best one so far
It proves itself by making it comfortable, user friendly, works as it was described, light weight and easy, the biggest plus is the water tank which is almost 2 gallon and makes it even easier to fill once a day.i live in San jose Cali and u can imagine how warm it gets here .kudos.

Not as advertised
The unit is not cooling down the air as it should and it is lot smaller then advertised and not as strong as advertisedIt increases the humidity and not cooling the room as it should and worsens the heat as it increases the hiumidity instead of cooling the area

Not a bad buy
It was a little smaller than I thought, but it actually works out perfectly. You drown the noise out after a while, it isn't obnoxious at all. Perfect for small spaces, nice fan for when it's too hot too sleep. Adds a nice chill to the fan. Remote control is great for lazy people like me or too comfortable to get out of bed.
