All three boys loved them and immediately set them up.Setup was easy, directions were clear and easy to follow.Do not hesitate to buy and get an extra, just in case, you might think of someone else who needs such a terrific gift! I wanted this for 3 of my grandsons, but could only get one and had to search for and buy the other 2 elsewhere

I purchased this night light for my 10 year old and she absolutely loved it. Unfortunately after having it for a little less then three months, the fan that blows the ‘jellyfish’ stopped working. The idea of the night light is incredibly cute. The lights change color and the jellyfish look like they’re swimming. The maintenance on it is a bit of a pain. After the first month the jellyfish sank to the bottom so we cleaned it out. Always used distilled water and a couple of drops of soap as suggested as well as made sure no air bubbles under the hood of the jellyfish. Worked great after doing so the first couple times. Then the fan quit..which is why I rated it 2 stars.Amended review- after posting review, the company reached out to me to offer a new night light at no charge. Works great. Hopefully it lasts longer then the first one.Update from replacement….the motor quit in the second unit within 2 months. Disappointing to say the least.

When I purchased this item I was hoping it would be something I could use to set a relaxing tone in my room during the evening. Well, I am happy to say it fits that need. The colors are very vivid rotating between pinks, blues, greens, reds and more. The jellyfish themselves are very, very small and don't look that special before adding them to the tank but turns out they are a perfect size for this compact unit. And they float well and look pretty natural when being pushed around by the air fan at the bottom. I also like the fact that you can power it either by battery or USB which gives you a little leeway in where you can place it. I have only a few minor complaints which account for my 4 star rating instead of 5. It can be a little bit noisy in an otherwise quiet setting. I also wish there was a way that you could stop the light colors from rotating and keep them at one color. Overall, very happy with this little guy.

The media could not be loaded. Family thought I was crazy for this purchase but after setting it up they love it. So relaxing to watch and easy to assemble. The 6 colors are perfect. Definitely worth every penny!

I have purchased and set up two similar items to this as gifts...those both worked fine. This one I could not get to work properly. BEFORE I would add dish liquid, it hummed quietly as expected. Of course the jellies would only stay at the top, but again that's expected. Then I would add dish liquid, and the jellies would eventually "swim" just fine, but it always seemed to cause some type of distortion with the pump/impeller which resulted in an annoying noise. I tried several times. I also tried to lightly lubricate the pump shaft. I even tried just coating the jellies lightly in dish liquid with my finger before inserting. Same noisy result every time. Note I used distilled water each attempt. Can't return as I made changes to it by lubricating, but would not recommend.

I enjoyed this product, however the pump that makes the jellyfish move around stopped working only after having it for a few months. If the pump was better quality I'd consider purchasing again. Otherwise it was cute and the lights aren't to bright so it makes a nice night light.

It was nice until it stopped working. Super loud as well. Not worth it.
