The briefs are wonderful. I use combination of layers for night.
The briefs are wonderful. Full urinary nightime incontinence will likely require booster and a pair of outer protective bloomers (such as Garywear) for optimal security. Abri-flex are expensive. worth the extra few dollars per package--especially when one factors in the cost of laundry (soap, hot water, power) plus wear and tear on the washing machine/dryer. The biggest disadvantage, from my perspective, involves diapers in the landfill. Hopefully science will solve that problem soon.* update*learned to add one or more boosters from northshore to the abriflex brief for night coverage. getting good results from the L3, 2 "large" boosters (overlapped so that max coverage available where needed), regular underwear to keep abri close to body, and garywear as final layer. layers provide a combination that stays put, does not leak up the back or out the leg. most importantly: a dry bed! hallelujah...**update**experimentation revealed an advantage to use of brief plus two large boosters rather than one XL or one XLL booster: better control 'where' wetness collected and retained. additional thickness between legs successfully limits amount of moisture that seeps out. i feel 'more dry' using two L than a single layer of the longer versions. overlap the two large so that abdomen and upper back covered in single layer with double coverage at point of impact. males probably need a different strategy. layering makes a significant difference in how dry one feels in the morning.*update 3/21*.after 3 years the above still the best coverage: abri L3, 2 north shore L liners overlapped, snug underwear, garywear brief. i seldom wake to a wet bed. over time one learns volume and type foods/drink that cause problems. (caffeinated drinks shortly before bed is prime example--as will a huge meal). managing incontinence is *do-able*.

Finally-an incontinence aid with true maximum absorbency
My friend suffered for years with leaking adult incontinence aids. Most hold only @ 1/2 or less than this one. She can easily get through the night now. She appreciates these so much. It’s made such a difference in her life, peace of mind and well being. And because they are designed as panties, she doesn’t feel “infantized.” Highly recommend.

problem with side seam tearing
I have been using Abri-Flex premium L3 for years and I love the product but lately I am having a problem with one of the side seams easily tearing when putting on. If you look at the side seams you can see the problem. One side has a lot of material on the seam and the side that tears has minimum material. I have lost about 6 pair during the past week. Please address this problem.

Best ones out there
My mom uses these 24/7. We've tried lots of others but these are the best by far.

Extremely Absorbent, Extremely Comfortable
Some of the most absorbent adult diapers on the market. Very good at keeping absorbed moisture away from the wearer's skin. These diapers also fit me very well, but since people come in all shapes and sizes, it is impossible for most people to guess how adult diapers will fit someone else. Good elastic at waist opening and leg openings helps prevent leaks during normal use.

Absorbency
I purchase these for my clients. Hands down the best product on the market! Don't be fooled by other manufacturers products. They are worth the price you pay and more! Always buy maximum absorbency level (3) if incontinence is an issue.

The very best!
If you need incontinence help there are many products out there that help and do a good job of catching all the fluid. If you have a major incontinence problem and have CHF with variable leakage and sometimes floods at inconvenient times this is your product. They do the best job of catching and holding tons of fluid. (No product is perfect and bed pads are suggested with these for overnight help.

Highly recommended - doesn't leak, great absorbancy, and stays dry next to skin between changes
After trial and error with other disposable underwear for my 93-year-old, somewhat active mother over the years, the L3 Abena Abri-Flex Pull Ons have been the best for her comfort and security. They have not leaked at all during the day or overnight, and the urine is absorbed into other layers of the pad, so she doesn't feel wet between changes. The price is high for us, but mom's comfort and well-being are definitely worth it. She told me they do not shift and are comfortable to wear and easy to pull up and down. They tear relatively easily for quick removal, as needed. Even though the padding is thicker than previous brands, you really cannot tell she is wearing padded underwear.Highly recommended.

Light duty pull-up diapers at best; be prepared to wear two at a time
I bought these due to chronic diarrhea after having tried Tena Super diapers. The Tena aren't easy to close for a snug fit as it requires fiddling with four tabs (2 on each side) and are a lot like low-rise briefs that are constantly on the verge of falling down. I had to wear a tight pair of high-rise briefs to keep them in place, but they were super thick and absorbant. After some research, I found the Abena Abri-Flex Premium Protective Underwear (pull-up diapers). I was hoping it would have a similar level of thickness as the Tena. Unfortunately, Amazon only sells level 3 in the large size, which aren't thick enough. Be prepared to wear two of them. They do come up higher than the Tena and are snug at the waist, although I don't know if they would fit someone with a larger waist than mine (44). I was going to send them back, but I really dislike the Tena, so I'll try wearing two of these and hope they work.

Best product I've found so far
By far. Good fit, easy to get on, great containment and incredible absorption. If you need something like this, this outstanding product will make your life so much better than similar products. A million times better than That Popular Brand you get in drug stores.
