General Utility Glove - Good all around work glove for medium to light tasks
Ironclad makes a lot of gloves to fit all sorts of different work scenarios. They also come in all sorts of colors and materials. The trick is to getting the best glove for your specific job is to look at the Ironclad website and see what gloves are recommended for specific jobs. For example, these "General Utility Gloves" are great for working on cars/trucks, doing simple yard work, handling splintered wood that you might not want to touch barehanded. They are light weight, and not super thick. This gives you some dexterity and allows you to maneuver your hands and fingers accurately. These specific gloves are NOT designed or intended to be everything in one: Not water proof/resistant- your hands will get wet, as they should. Not fire proof/resistant- your hands will get burned, as they should Not chemical resistant- your hands will be exposed Not cut/needle/thorn resistant- Your hands will get cut/poked/stabbed See where I am going with this? If you want gloves that do specific things, they look at gloves for those tasks. These gloves will absolutely get your tasks done at home or at work as long as you are reasonable and understand the limitations and intended use of these gloves. I recommend putting a pair of these gloves in your pickup or car, they will be an excellent tool when helping you to change a tire (if anyone doesn't automatically call a tow truck as I always see). They are also great for cleaning up a back yard, moving boxes, etc. You get a quality product for a fair price. Compared to Mechanix gloves? They are about the same in my opinion, but these are built a little better, the velcro closure on these is longer lasting and of better quality. Stitching is about the same and fill fail the higher abrasion materials you work with. Not a bad choice for under $20, and they will come in handy. Give it a try.

Perfect all around work glove
I've purchased several pairs of these gloves. I find them to be comfortable, versatile and durable. They are true to size (in my opinion) and nicely featured.

Awesome general purpose glove
I absolutely love these gloves. I work on the conversion crew at a large indoor stadium and had to replace my leather palmed gloves (Wells Lamont or similar) every year or so because the fingers would always tear apart. 7 months with these Ironclad gloves and they still look new (minus some dirt that a washing would cure). These are some of the only gloves that I've been able to thread small nuts or bolts with, and still have a good tactile feel of what I'm doing. The TPR cuff puller is one of the best things I didn't know I needed. All of my old gloves had elastic at the cuff, and that would get stretched and destroyed from getting pulled on. The soft cloth on the back side of the thumb (Ironclad markets it as a lens wipe) makes a handy nose wipe if you've got a runny nose and you're outside driving a forklift while it's snowing......or you know, whatever it is that you do. If I had one dislike, is the light colored palm, that is now more of a charcoal color thanks to grease, grime, and the rubber infill pellets used in athletic turf. The next pair will get washed occasionally to see if they'll come clean, but I'm torture testing this current pair to see how long they can last. EDIT October 2018: still rocking the original pair with great results. Can tell the fingers are starting to wear, but are still holding up w/ zero holes or tears. Have had to clean them due to grease, washed in the sink with some liquid laundry detergent and a bristle brush...palms were nearly black from grime, brought back to an almost original light gray color. EDIT December 2020: retired the original pair sometime midway through 2019. Finally wore through the tip of a finger and decided it was time for a new pair. Then proceeded to lose one of the gloves from that pair within a couple months. Anyways, for what I use them for, I love them. Pretty sure I now have a pair in both vehicles, a pair at work, and a set at home.

Great work gloves.
I love these gloves. Comfortable, durable, and classy looking. The sizing runs big, so next time I get them I'll go a size smaller

Durable and great for all kinds of household tasks
These gloves are absolutely great and have exceeded my expectations. I have been using them for several months now for a wide assortment of jobs around the house, and they are still holding up perfectly. They fit well and offer good protection without being too bulky to work in. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable utility gloves.

Impressed
Amazing gloves and incredible comfort after working with them for about a half an hour. I work for USPS as a commercial truck driver. I'm required to both load and unload mail enclosed USPS equipment; GPC, OTR's and PALLETS. Gloves breakdown quick because of so much hands on steel and iron. I'm impressed.

Reliable and Affordable Work Gloves
The work gloves have become my go-to choice for all my DIY projects. While they don't last forever, their durability and performance are impressive for the price. These gloves provide a comfortable and secure fit, allowing for excellent dexterity and control during various tasks. One of the things I appreciate most is their versatility. Whether I'm handling tools, lifting materials, or working in the garden, these gloves offer reliable protection and grip. They're also machine washable, making it easy to keep them clean and ready for the next project. The only downside is that they do wear out with heavy use, but considering the affordable price, they are a great value. I can easily replace them without breaking the bank, and the performance they offer makes them worth every penny. These gloves are a solid investment for anyone who tackles DIY projects regularly. They provide a good balance of durability, comfort, and affordability, making them a highly recommended choice for any hardworking individual.

I have worn these work gloves for years, working the in the woods and will wear nothing else. They are warm (don't bother with any other gloves), comfy, protect your hands and tactile enough for one to be able to tie a knot without taking them off. They are even warm when sodden - I wear them whitewater canoeing in very cold water and they are great, like wet suit gloves, but with abrasion protection. I have a stock pile of them in my wardrobe in case Iron Clad stop making them!

I've only been using these for working out with monster resistance bands because I find the friction on the webbing between my thumb & forefinger unpleasant. I chose these gloves for the extra layer of protection in that area. They are very comfortable to wear. The bands caused my old, inexpensive leather (i think) weightlifting gloves to quickly pill all over & little bits would fall off. These aren't leather & so far they've not been affected by the bands at all. I haven't washed them yet, but air them out after using & after several sweaty workouts they don't smell. I'd prefer the wrist strap to be a little thicker & have it sit a little further up your wrist, even for outdoor use. Would also be nice if they also had an adjustor behind the palm for a more customized fit. The velcro strap works well so far. The gloves are breathable/sweat wicking especially across the back of your palm. My palm measured 8cm across, so I originally bought size M as per the size chart. They were too big, so bought the S. After just a few wears I realized the S is also too big across my palm & the fingers are too long (I have short fingers) and a little loose. I'm not sure if they stretched or were always a bit too big. This makes them difficult if you want to do something or pick up something that requires any precision. I may get the size XS in future and use the size S for outdoors. These seem like nice gloves, but can't comment how they stand up for intended use.
