This is my 7th Anran camera. All expect one are working perfectly and the only faulty camera was swiftly replaced by Anran Customer Service. So I can vouch for both the quality of the product as well as the after sales. The Q1 is my favourite, with good picture quality as well as good wifi reception. This makes a big difference outdoors. I have also refined my outdoor installation of these cameras using a gutter downpipe as the pole. Perfect fit for the Q1 and C3. See photo. The cameras are also relatively easy to set up. Only thing to watch out for is the availability of decent wifi signal and sunlight. May require repositioning to optimise both. Other than that, they work as they should.

I bought this camera as my original one didn't cover the area that I needed it to cover and it's great value for money. It's really substantial and well made and looks nice. It was really easy to set up exactly where I wanted it. It seemed to charge much quicker with the power button turned off and is now set up looking over the area I need surveillance. Both night and day vision are good and it's useful having the alerts. It connected to my WiFi extender very easily. All in all, I'm very pleased with it.

Edit: The solar panel failed after just a few months. Luckily the camera it replaced had the same plug as the original, but black, but I can bear that. So dropped a star for longevity of the solar panel. I ordered this to replace a three year old static solar powered battery camera that had recently died. Frankly lasting three years here in windy wet Ireland is pretty good and I would have purchased another one, but I really needed a Pan/Tilt camera to be able to monitor my gate where I will be placing an Honesty Box for items for sale with the proceeds going to charity. Having looked at what was available to me here in Ireland (which is a lot less than is available to those living in the UK) this one seemed to do most of what I needed it to do which was: 1 - Pan and Tilt - Yes 2 - Motion Detection - Yes 3 - Local video storage - Yes 4 - Motion Tracking - No 5 A decent monitoring facility - Yes So 4 out of 5 is okay, but the only camera available to me in Ireland that had Motion Tracking had an overall poor review with comments that Motion Tracking was too slow. Fitting Easy enough. I mounted it up on a 4" x 2" post screwed to my wooden fence by the gate. But not before running through the instructions to download the app and mount the camera to it. The whole lot took about 5 minutes. I have a TP-ink outdoor wi-fi extender to feed the signal to the outside. My house is a new build with foil-backed insulation on the walls, so any signal is mostly blocked from the indoor routers. Fitting the outdoor extender gives me the range I need to reach the camera on my gate, a distance of 50 metres. I get 68% signal which is just a little under my last camera, but in theory its good enough. In use It works well enough. The Pan and Tilt instruction from your phone takes a moment to react, but that's only to be expected. The "QHD" image is actually not as good as my last camera which was Full HD but it's good enough for my needs. The app has a lot of functions for fine tuning, most of which is explained in the listing. It does have alarm detection, but this is where things get hazy and why I've dropped a star from my rating. The app suggests Human Detection is utilised for movement alarm, but it also suggests this needs activating in the app. However, this only seems to be available as part of a subscription. However, Cannot confirm this as when I go to peruse the available subscription based options, there is nothing available. It is possible Human Detection is a standard part of the app, and not subscription based, but like I say, it's unclear. As I would not use a sub anyway, it really matters not to me, but it might to you. Which app? The enclosed instructions suggest to use the ANRAN app. However I notice people are using the Cloudedge app that I used for my old camera. Perhaps changing to the Cloudedge app might bring back the subscription options, but as that's not the recommended app, I am only going to review the app the manufacturer currently recommends. The camera arrives almost fully charged, but the solar panel should keep it charged on a constant basis if I do not use power hungry options like ether pan and tilt and colour night vision too often. My old static camera never needed charging, even during the shorter dreary winter months, but then it was only ever used when it detected movement. Keeping the usage down like this will probably see you never having to charge the camera manually. So overall it get 4 out of 5 stars, with one knocked off for the lack of subscription options that the advertising suggests you can subscribe to. Time will tell where longevity is concerned, I always update my reviews if things go wrong, so you can be assured if this review is getting on a bit and there is no update that it's still going strong!

Excellent camera will buy again

I was a bit concerned about battery charging and waterproof quality given the U.K. weather, but have to say, it’s been out in the rain with no issues and I’ve yet to take it down and charge it as the solar panel seems to do an efficient job. Picture quality is good night or day. Slight delay in sending alerts but my wifi is not full strength in the garden, so it may be down to that. You can adjust motion sensitivity and this works fine. However, slight annoyance that I haven’t figured out how to stop motion detection when I go outside. Even if I put a block on the view the camera picks me up and sends umpteen alerts. I can angle the camera down to avoid this, but I find it is a bit difficult to get it back in the correct position then as it keeps overshooting the mark of where I want it to be. Other than this, very happy with the camera for the money. Solar is the way to go and this was a no fuss, easy set up and effective camera for the price (which was very reasonable for this type of cctv). 👍

I installed the ANRAN Camera with 128 GB Card (Bought Separately). I found the Quality and Clarity is good and can rotate the camera 360 degrees myself. I was disappointed that the camera does not rotate automatically when it detects human or animal. Overall the functionality, picture quality is good. I electrically charged it and will check the solar charge works correctly or not in time.

Good product , well built however most camera now have a higher resolution and AI tracking ( Auto follow ) We are a CCTV installer in UK and have tested this camera in workshop. I think to enable tracking you have to pay a monthly subscription most camera's give you this free.

Die Kamera macht insgesamt einen sehr guten Eindruck. Bildqualität und Funktionsumfang sind top – gerade die Schwenkfunktion und das integrierte Solarpanel sind super praktisch. Auch die Nachtsicht liefert klare Aufnahmen, und die Einrichtung war unkompliziert. Etwas Luft nach oben gibt es bei der WLAN-Verbindung, die teilweise schwankend ist – hier wäre eine stabilere Verbindung wünschenswert. Außerdem wird der kostenpflichtige Cloud-Speicher etwas zu oft vorgeschlagen, was auf Dauer etwas störend wirkt. Insgesamt aber eine empfehlenswerte Kamera mit tollem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Satisfait du produit, images très net. Seul petit problème en cours de résolution avec le SAV très réactif, la caméra ne prend plus la charge du panneau solaire.

Muy contento con el producto. Fácil instalación, buena resolución. La carga solar funciona perfectamente (hasta en días nublados carga correctamente) Un poco complicado configurar correctamente la sensibilidad de alertas para que tengas demasiadas falsas alertas
